Dr. Anders Per Nelson, MD

Dr. Nelson has always been there for me and my children. He is very intelligent, intuitive, and extremely compassionate - which to me, means a great deal. My children lost their father at an early age and without Dr. Nelson, his kindness, his extensive medical expertise, and his ongoing availability to me, I am not sure I would have navigated the complexities associated with complex grief and its affect on my children. He was always there for my family - at all times - and he was always available to me when I needed him. I felt comfortable presenting any issue to him, and no matter how busy he was on any given day, he made me feel that the health and well being of my children were always a priority to him. He has taken amazing care of my children, who are now 25, 24, 21 and 13. I cannot imagine letting anyone else taking care of my children but Dr. Nelson. I am actually sad that the older two had to recently transition to primary care physicians. To say that I highly… recommend him would be an understatement. In addition, as far back as I can remember, his past office staff, and his current office staff, have been kind and caring. They were accommodating at all times and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend !!

Dr. Nelson always makes time for questions and is right on target with his diagnosis.

This office is the prime example why you don’t mix business with pleasure. His office manager is also his live-in girlfriend and the woman is the most dumb, rude and arrogant woman I have ever met. The office billed the insurance company wrong, they admitted that it was their fault, and this rude witch had the audacity to call me, the day after my father had died, and threaten to dismiss my child from their practice. I explained I had just had a death in the family, I needed a week to figure it out and she called and harassed me every day. It’s a shame. The doctor is a good doctor, his nurses are wonderful, but his office manager has no business doing the job she does.

Dr. Nelson is absolutely wonderful! He is not only a great, knowledgeable doctor, he is kind and personable as well! His office staff and nurses are great too! We love him!

Horrible! I have never felt the need to write a review on anything in my life but he missed diagnosing my child with something serious twice! He does not listen to your concerns and blows things off. I switched dr's as soon as I was able to.

I went to him for years and he is such a great doctor! Everyone is so nice there and very friendly and caring. I'm so pleased with their care that I am now taking my 2 month old son there!

We just love Dr. Nelson! He always takes his time with you and is super informative. Very patient and kind, super friendly! Love that he works on vaccine research and is published, really knows his stuff. Also he is NOT pushy, like some doctors I know. The office staff is GREAT! Love the nurses Dorthy and Judy!

I'm very satisfied with Dr. Nelson and his staff. He is always calm and collected and keeps things in perspective. He takes the time to explain things clearly and always answers my questions. His nurses are always helpful too and I've been able to speak with them on the phone whenever I need something or have a question they can answer. His practice is a good fit for us and I wouldn't take my kid's anywhere else.

Dr. Nelson is very neglectful.I became very ill last year with CNS Lyme Disease and after coming to him with aceptic meningitis-like symptoms he said,"frankly I'm bored" and basically called me crazy.After having a mild seizure a few days later, he still would not refer me to any specialists and my mom self-reffered me to over 30 doctors and the only one in his office who cared was a nurse, Judy. I am never coming to him again.
