Discontinued services to my daughter because of questions I ask him, did he feel threatened or did I hurt his superior ego by asking questions??????

WAKE up people. Read the reviews of people being treated FOR YEARS by this man. WHY are these people not getting healthy? How many seperate ongoing issues can people have that needs 40 years to correct. His list of all his specialities is odd. HOW can you specialize in skin wound infections, elbow surgery, hand surgery and then ankle and hip. 45 years of being in health care I have learned that someone who lists expertise in so many specialies needs to be researched before you walk in the door. It is your life, you know when something doesn't feel right.

He just did not work with me at all!!!!

I've been a patient since the late 70's when I was in high school. Since then Dr E has performed several surgeries on me. He listens, makes recommendations, and unlike the review that says he isn't "up to date" he is very much so. I'm not sure who I'll see when Dr E does retire but I am thankful for all the years he has treated me and my numerous injuries! Not to mention his office staff who are AWESOME!

Excellent Doctor! My family has seen him for years, and I wouldn't go any where else. Friendly staff and doctor, concerned about patients, and thorough exams and diagnostics.

Dr. E took the time to explain what was going on. bedside manners are great. no problems will keep going to him.

Third visit, this guy won't even spend more than 5 minutes in the room..... Guess he thinks I'm making up the pain.... DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR IF YOU CARE ABOUT A DOCTOR CARING/LISTENING TO YOUR CHIEF COMPLAINT!!!!!!!

Dr Eglevsky performed a surgery on my ankle in Nov 2011. He was polite to me in the pre-op and in my office visits, He took care in making sure i had a pain rx. My father was with me at the time of the surgery and Dr. Eglevsky made sure he knew my instructions and answered his questions. Overall, I am thrilled with this dr, his office and his surgical skills.

I would first like to say that I would NOT recommend this doctor to ANYONE! My hip has been grinding for atleast 10 years now, and when my primary doctor finally decided to refer me to MRI and then an ortho specialist, I unfortunately got referred to Dr. Eglevsky. He ignored the suggestions made on my MRI report, which said findings were suggestive of a tear, and my concern with my grinding hip, and then proceeded to tell me that his hip pops too. He stated that there were three options; surgery, physical therapy (to learn to stretch), and a cortisone shot. I opted for the cortisone shot, hoping it would help. He came back to administer the shot with no assistant with him, and failed to provide any consent paperwork. For two days following the shot, I was unable to walk. I requested a second opinion and, within seconds of seeing the MRI films, the second doctor told me there was definitely a tear. It's obvious that Dr Eglevsky is NOT up to date with his medical knowledge. If you want… to be misdiagnosed, I recommend you visit this doctor. If you would like an honest diagnosis, and proper treatment, avoid this doctor at all costs!

I've had many visits with Dr. Eglevsky and have been very satisfied. He's always treated my problems with accuracy and thoroughness. I'm very satisfied and will go to him the next time I've got something wrong. Specifically he was the only doctor that was able to diagnose my first attack of gout after two other doctors failed to do so. Big thumbs up!
