Dr. Andrea Jill Casher, PhD

Andrea Casher is not a good "Doctor". She makes you feel like a criminal for being there and trying to get your problems across. Casher has a biased opinion off her judgements of you prior to ever stepping foot into her office. I would never step foot in her office as she is not there to help you. Cooper should not allow her to use her interns to do all of her work when its important to be seen by a health professional. Casher did not even sit in the room during the visit while her intern did the entire evaluation.

She made me feel like a criminal as soon as I walked in. Her office at Cooper Plaza is connected to the main lobby and she asked if I preferred to wait there as if unnerved by my presence. As I was leaving I went to grab my coat lying on the chair near the entrance and she says with urgency in her voice, "The exit is that way" while pointing at the exit. I am in my third year of college. Not everybody in Camden is a criminal. She shouldn't be working in Camden if she's in fear of every client that walks through her door. She needs to build trust so clients can trust her. She must also do the actual work herself instead of assigning an intern to do ALL of it. Her intern also seemed to do most of the listening as he was mostly the one writing things down. She seemed to be a bit distracted and while she put on a caring facade, flippant passive aggressive comments such as "I thought you were going to tell me you woke up at 4am!" told me otherwise. She'd only communicate with me for 30… minutes tops until her intern took over. She also wanted to push medication on me despite me telling her I wasn't interested in medication. I don't recommend her.

I left her office in tears. Humiliated. Devastated. Defeated. Acted like I was an inconvenience to her. Not compassionate, understanding, or a good listener. But excellent at degrading a person in case you are into that sort of thing. Stay away, go elsewhere.
