Dr. Andrea Jill Eisenberg, MD

I was on preterm labor when she was on call... I called emergency line to say my belly kept contracting and she said thats probably nothing... I had 1 cm cervix from 21 weeks with twins so when I went into labor at 28 she just said come the next morning... And when I came to the hospital in labor I didn't even see her only the residents took care of me.. Thank gd I followed my instincts. Also practice lost my blood work for diabetics and then played dumb and kept asking me if I knew the results because they put the steroids shots and I almost died. I was lucky someone not in their practice was on call when I deliver at 31 weeks.

Terrible doctor, one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life. I have never felt more uncomfortable before. She was not personable, sincere, or genuine at all. I was in a very scary situation, I felt like I had to keep seeing her through the process. I was told I was having an ectopic pregnancy, with no real feedback it was very stressful. I thought leaving in the middle of the process would not have been smart and to let Dr. Eisenberg finish what she started. She was judgmental, insincere, and was not helpful in any way. She never had information to share with me when I had questions. She was uninterested each time I visited, literally. I was ignorant to keep going back to her, and now I believe she has poorly advised me. As a woman, a gynecologist is very personal and can be very impactful in the decisions you make. They are supposed to be a source of information for you and in no way judgmental. From the day I walked into her office, she acted disgusted. Before I had… ever gotten an exam from this woman, just introducing myself-- she showed disgust. I tried to ignore it and convinced myself that maybe she was having a rough day. But, as I continued to go to her, I became more and more uncomfortable. It was a depressing moment every time I knew I had to go see her. She does not care in the slightest bit and stressed me out more than I should have been. She lacked compassion, empathy, and any emotion. Do NOT go to her.

I seen dr Eisenberg when I was trying for my second child and was having menstrual issues. She helped me conceive , unfortunately I miscarried at 6 weeks. But now I am 22 weeks and things are going great. She wasn't very compassionate about telling me I had a miscarriage, not very in depth at all. She knows what she is doing, but she could be more specific and take some more time with people instead of making me feel like just another patient to get through. She also didn't let me hear the heartbeat for more then a few seconds. The staff can sometimes be rude, but some people there do care. I ended up switching to dr. Hakim at 18 weeks and I love her!

I really appreciated the follow up care after I delivered my children. She was also always available via telephone for various questions and concerns. She has a very calm demeanor.
