Dr. Andrea Gropman, MD

This Dr. Came in- asked a few questions , made general comments about my child and would not elaborate when pressed, jumped to conclusions to respond to my questions two times, didn’t ask me if I had questions, made very vague statements and made it difficult to ask follow up questions since her responses were not appropriate to my question. For instance she professionally diminished research I knew, as a person in the field, to talk about research she had “heard” about at a conference , but not read herself, and was most likely not for children in the age category for our concern. We waited 6 months to get in to this doctor to ask questions to get no answers be brushed off and rushed. We spent more time with the geneticist than anything. Total waste of time. I left there with no more knowledge than I came in with and I certainly feel a strong level or disappointment and frustration.
