If this incompetent person walks into your room, just leave. You would be better off getting advice from a pile of dung.

I had to take my 7 year old to the emergency room in the middle of the night because she was having terrible stomach pains. Dr. Jolley was very short with us and seemed annoyed that we were even there, even though I swear we were the only ones in there. After a quick initial visit she left - didn't even tell us what tests she ordered and why. After about 2 and half hours of waiting for test and xray results, she finally came in (did not come in once during that time to check in and see how we were doing, even though my daughter was writhing in pain and throwing up) and gave us a very short prognosis and what over the counter meds to take. She didn't even tell me what dosage amount to give a child for the adult medication she suggested. I had to ask her, to which she seemed very annoyed that I was asking. I tried to give her the benefit of doubt that maybe she was just having a bad night, but after reading the other reviews--WTH? This person should not be in her position if she can't… even provide ANY compassion for a 7 year old girl in the middle of the night. I'd give her ZERO stars if I could. Sad excuse for an emergency room Dr. I also let the hospital know about our experience but have yet to hear anything back.

I ended up in the emergency room and usually spend more than 5 hours. I gave her my symptoms and tests were ordered promptly. I had never seen her before so I was a little apprehensive. She came in within a couple hours with a diagnosis which I felt was accurate. Within a couple days I was feeling better after the meds she prescribed me. My regular MD stated her diagnosis was accurate.

I'm writing as a healthcare provider. She is horrible to work along side. I couldn't imagine having to see her as a patient.

Horrible experience. Went to ER for a concussion. Sat there with a bad head ache for an hour after getting crushed at a hockey game. Walked in, told me not to be sports for 7 days, and literally walked out without me being able to ask any questions at all. Worst Doctor experience of my life.

Very good at making the patient feel stupid when asking questions and getting a half assed answer with attitude. Sorry but I came in for professional advice because I am ignorant to the human body and conditions, I didn't need the help of that being pointed out and being treated like she wished I would just leave already. She's been assigned to me twice now and both experiences were like this, last time I gave her the benefit of the doubt because people have bad day. It's people like her which make me stray away from hospitals. Horrible experience!

She was rude. Condescending. Offered me no explanation for her decision to change the course of my treatment, and to top it off she was WRONG and her advice was to take a medication that made my condition worse that landed me in the hospital. Andrea, a bit of advice: if you don't like people, maybe you shouldn't be a doctor. You're not just not good at your job, you're a bad human being. Please rethink the course of your career and do something that doesn't require you to interact people when you obviously only care about being right (even though you can take one look at your reviews all over the internet and know that you're often NOT) and feeding your ego.

Went in to the ER with severe abdominal pain, terrified that I had something that would require another hospitalization or even another surgery... I've had several of both. She rushed through ordering an IV and pain meds (thank GOD) and got a CT ordered. No complaints there... and it's why she gets one star instead of zero. Before getting into the details of the rest that happened, I should say that I have worked in Emergency Rooms in the city for YEARS and that some of my friends have been ER doctors. I know how a visit should go. Now I'll proceed: After the CT was read, the doc returned to tell me there was nothing wrong with my CT. That my blood work indicated a resolving UTI and nothing else seriously wrong. She then said "I'll write you a script for anti-nausea medicine and get you going" then abruptly left the room before I had a chance to say or ask anything at all. The tech came in within 2 minutes to pull my IV, even though I told her I'd been not drinking fluids due… to it hurting to eat or drink anything for about 2 days. My blood pressure was 102/51 with a pulse of 98 which I know could indicate beginnings of hypovolemic shock (also very not normal for me and she refused to return to explain anything to me, or let me even finish receiving the bag of fluids, and it was dead quiet there in the middle of the night). I asked the tech about pain meds and figured the doc had made an error in prescribing nausea meds instead... I had minimal nausea and it was the pain that brought me in. Tech asked and came back saying "no, she's only giving the nausea med" and apologized. I started crying, knowing the pain would be back within hours, and then my RN came in and asked what was wrong. Explained no pain meds... doc wouldn't give them, only Zofran for nausea. She also went to ask and was sent back with a "no, she's fine, tell her to take ibuprofen" (WHICH I'd been doing for 2 days and just couldn't take the pain anymore). Nurse discretely asked me to contact the patient rep and then on my way out another stopped me to suggest I file a complaint as this wasn't the first time she'd done this to a patient. Miserable. I spent the following 24 hours mostly in tears. No point in going back because I won't pay an ER copay to just get sent home again with a med to treat something I'm not in the ER for. She's a terrible doctor, with a terrible and impersonal bedside manner. Narcissistic and condescending attitude and manner of speaking. Never ever, will I see her again... should have looked at her online reviews BEFORE the visit once I knew whom I'd be seeing. No one likes her for all the same reasons. Dr. Jolley... word of advice: You're really not a good doctor if you can't effectively communicate with your patients, and consider their feelings and opinions. You're obviously not God... or apparently even a very good human being. If you don't care that this seems to be the online consensus of your talents as a medical professional... then why are you doing it? Go suck at something else that doesn't negatively impact other human beings.

Andrea B Jolley who seems to have been all over MN, currently works in Hibbing, Mn at Fairview Hospital. Her examination, diagnosis and tests were rushed, unexplained, she didn't give me a chance to ask questions as she diagnosed my test and meds and then left the room within about 2 mins. After the test and prescribed medication through I.V., she came back in and once again said about 2 sentences of explanation then tried to leave the room again. I finally stopped her hurried rush to ask a few questions and she gave very curt and short answers, seemed to be very annoyed and snappy. At one point she simply said "there's nothing else to discuss, I think we're done"..realizing our reaction, she gave one more hurried response then left the room. Overall my experience with her was a very surprisingly negative one, I would never recommend her to anyone nor go to her again by choice.
