Dr. Andrea Michelle Kane, MD

Dr. Kane was my daughter's doctor for nearly a year (birth - 11 months). Let me start by saying that -I- am in the medical field and every time I took my daughter in she treated me as though I was always doing something wrong. She chastised me at every appointment. I have an older child as well so it was not like I was a brand new parent asking silly questions. My daughter was having trouble with the formula she was on and I felt as though Dr. Kane repeatedly blew me off and then chastised me for my daughter loosing weight after I'd been telling her she was unable to keep this particular formula down. I fired her as a doctor. Her medical assistant at the time was incredible as is the rest of the staff. The rest of the doctors in the office are amazing and I would highly recommend them but I refuse to let this woman touch my children ever again.

Feel like she treats parents like crap because they are eating a sack full of fruits and vegetables

LOVE DR. KANE AND EVERYONE THAT WORKS THERE. NICE AND FRIENDLY. APPOINTMENTS HARDLY EVER LATE. THEY WILL SQUEEZE YOU IN IF YOU NEED IMMEDIATE CARE. ONLY THING I DONT LIKE IS TAKING AN ELEVATOR UP IS THE ONLY OPTION!

I took my 3-year old son in for a rash he had. I felt like we were wasting hers and her staff's time by being there. She did explain what to do with the prescription she was giving, but she was in an out of the room in under 3 minutes. I left something in the room and when I went to get it I got some attitude for not remembering which room I was in.

Not only is her staff unfriendly, but Dr. Kane is too as well. She was recommended to me by another doctor that I really like and trust. She is terrible!! No bedside mannor at all, which is NOT good for children. Also, just types on her laptop the whole time, no eye contact, etc. She acts like you are wasting her time even though she is paid very well for her time. I wouldn't take a dog to this lady, she is terrible. I also liked the fact that she went to RUSH since I go there frequently for my own issues. I have never seen a more friendly, caring hostpital. Maybe Dr. Kane didn't get the memo??

She was rude to me for being 5 minutes late. and told me that was not how she runs her office. Keep in mind i had a newborn who required an oxygen tank and heart monitor to be with him at all time. Not to mention my son in his carrier. And about a month later for a weigh-in i waited about 50 minutes to get in..turned out they had wrote the wrong time on my card/put it in wrong in the schedule and i ended up having to come back the next day

I started taking my son to Dr.Kane from day one! She is very affectionate towards him, caring, and she never misses a new bump or scratch! (boys will be boys :) )
