Dr. Lucas listened to my concerns, provided comprehensive care, and explained the intent-to-treat plan. I felt very comfortable and informed with an overall sense of comfort. She provided me with clinical studies to support her recommendations and also explained things in a way that was very easy to understand. From the moment I met her, I felt a strong sense of comfort and connection. She was also extremely bright, knowledgeable, and informative.

Dr Luke’s is professional and knowledgeable. In addition, she acknowledges my intelligence and has a good sense of humor. She is upbeat. She is comfortable to be around and I can ask her any question. Her whole office is efficient and pleasant.

She is a very good doctor: great bedside manners and a high-level professional. I was impressed with her knowledge, experience, and recommendations I received.

I'm actually shocked to see any negative reviews. I was dealing with pain and bleeding problems for almost 3 years. Saw 3 different doctors who told me nothing was wrong, including one at Duke that said my problems were simply age related. At that point I had bled every day for 10 months and had severe iron deficiency anemia that required 3 infusions. Her only solution was an I.U.D. and pelvic floor exercises. A friend suggested I make the hour long drive to Durham to see Dr. Lukes. That has to be the best decision I ever made. She assured me she would get to the bottom of it and she did! After a few tests she diagnosed me with uterine fibroids and performed fibroid removal surgery. Both she and her staff followed up multiple times after the surgery to ensure I was doing okay. I'm not exaggerating when I say she's a life saver!

Dr. Lukes has been my OB/GYN since the beginning of her career as an OB at Duke. She birthed my daughter in 2001 and I still see her to this day. She is an incredibly warm, caring and very personable Dr. She is exactly the type of Dr and the Women's Clinic is the kind of practice we all hope to be lucky enough to find. They truly care about each patient as individuals. I have several friends who have started going to the CWRWC and my daughter will see her when she turns 18 this year! Excellent Practice with caring Dr.s and Staff.

Overall an extremely pleasant experience! I was running late and as a new patient, very worked up going in. Dr. Lukes and her staff were nice enough to see me anyway, and everyone had a calming effect. She is one of the top patient educators I've ever seen or worked with as a healthcare provider myself. Relaxed, and efficient yet thorough!
