Dr. Andrea Nicolette Manhart, DO

If you have pain, do not go to this doctor. I stuck with her way too long, but she doesn’t return phone calls, can only see you every 3 months (which means if your treatment fails on day 1, you just suffer). Also, she abruptly changed my prescription, after 7 months of approving refills through her office, without a visit, without contacting me in any way, and when I called to ask about it, I got berated by the receptionist. Again, she does not care about pain. I told her that the efficacy of a different treatment was failing short of the scheduled treatment dates. “Ah, yeah, a lot of people experience that. It’s FDA approved for 91 day so that’s what insurance companies pay for. Okay see you in 3 months” when lo and behold some people actually get their insurance to approve coverage more frequently _if the doctor’s office petitions them_. She does not care. She will not go an extra inch for you, much less an extra mile. You have to talk over her to talk about your symptoms, which for… someone who deals with pain, is the most important information she has to treat me, and she doesn’t care to find out. If what I report deviates from mathematically averaged data about the general group of patients I fall into, she just ignores it. If a treatment doesn’t work the way she says it should, I feel as though I am expected to apologize. Do not go to this doctor.

She was very thorough and was open to different treatment plans. She also takes the time to listen to you and help figure out issues your having.

I have been seeing her for treatment for a few years now. Wonderful ease of setting up an appointment and she is really kind in office. Very knowledgeable and caring!

Some of the staff are rude and complains to patients, medical files are not accurately updated.Failure to send medical records to other Dr.Offices on time, had to make several requests.Dr.is nice but rushed and seems unaware of staffs attitude.Her records do not reflect previous medications tried,so will be suggested again.Does not seem sympathetic to patients pain.
