Dr. Andrea Richman has owned the only general dental office in the town of Carlisle, MA, since 1980 when she purchased a small one-operatory office from Dr. Amy Wu. After receiving her dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1978, she completed a General Practice Residency at Boston City Hospital in 1979 where she continued to mentor and teach new dental graduates for twenty years.
Dr. Richman’s career-long volunteer service to dentistry culminated in 2007 with her election as the first woman President of the Massachusetts Dental Society. She remains in high demand in various volunteer activities within the profession. Dr. Richman is on the Board of Trustees for EDIC, the Eastern Dentists Insurance Company. In addition she volunteers annually at the Yankee Dental Congress which is the premier dental professional meeting in New England, attracting over 25,000 participants each January in Boston. Dr. Richman lives in Newton with her husband Michael Shulman.
