Dr. Andrea Lee Torsone, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Torsone's for many years and she is one of the best physicians I have ever had! As a public health nurse professional, I am impressed by her client-centered care as well as adoption of evidence-based practices. She is always so caring and thoughtful and she truly takes an interest in your well-being. You are just not "another patient" to her.

Dr. Torsone and her staff are the best of all my gynecology experiences, and I've had 2 babies and am 43 years old. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, and relaxed. I actually look forward to my appointments because I trust her so well.

Dr. Torsone is wonderful and has been my gynecologist for over 3 years now. Never rushes you, explains everything she is going to do and answers all questions. She is very good at getting an answer to any problems you may be having and making sure you are feeling good about any decisions. You truly feel like you have a partner in your health care. Highly recommend!

I have seen Dr. Torsone for 10years and have been very happy with her. She has always recommended the appropriate therapy for me. I am an RN so I know the qualities of a good doctor. She has been supportive of me as I have navigated peri menopause. She will be seeing my teenage daughter; that’s how much I love her!

I no longer see Dr. Torsone as my OB/GYN and haven't for over 5 years. Though, I got a "reminder" call today from her office! (Please update your records, I've only explained this twice in the past to your staff). Though, Dr. Torsone knows her stuff and is a good physician, my experiences with her during my peri-menopausal and menopausal stages were NOT good. She eye-rolled and "poo-poo'ed" my concerns about excessive weight gain and told me on two occasions, all she hears from her peri-menopausal and menopausal patients are complaints with weight gain. She said it was a fact of menopause and get use to it. While I know she can't do anything about it, her demeanor and attitude about it was nothing short of offensive to me. So, I can't wait for her to get to this stage in her life and her have excessive weight gain and no matter how hard she works out and watches what she eats, she can't lose it. Actually, just keeps gaining weight. Maybe then she'll have some sympathy for her… patients that are going through or have gone through menopause. Lastly, she sure moves her practice around a lot, too. Not sure why a physician moves all the time. None of my other providers moves like she does.

Dr. Torsone is excellent. Her staff is superb and the office has a wonderful European ambiance with classical music and soft lighting. No paper gowns here - you get to wear a cute kimono! Dr. Torsone is professional, thorough and very personable. The best gyno I've ever had!

Dr. Torsone makes the patient feel cared about. Doctor Torsone is clearly concerned about her patient's life issues, not just her health, and spends more time with them than most other doctors.

she specializes in female reproductive systems, yet she wont operate on me for cysts, was told she could not perform surgery. Why bother going to her then? Now I have to find a new doctor. She told me to ask my family doctor in regards to birth control. Now i have to pay again for a new consult for another doctor.

Best gynecologist I have had. She listens and she operated on me and my recovery time was at a minimum. Her staff is very caring also.
