stay far far away. this doctor is extremely biased and will make you feel uncomfortable. he doesn't take your concerns seriously and belittles you.

This doctor listens to me and teaches me about my health conditions during each visit. He is very thorough.

Ultimately, I ended up switching insurance carrier, from an HMO plan with Kaiser Permenante to a PPO through Blue Cross & Blue Shield, because Dr Mendez-Munoz wouldn't provide an accurate diagnosis so I could begin treatment for my condition. Long story short, my blood work confirmed that I'm suffering from a hormone deficiency, which, unfortunately, requires weekly injections for life. He referred me to an Endocrinologist, also with Kaiser, who wouldn't treat the problem. All they wanted to do was refer me to psychiatry to prescribe me antidepressants, because I guess it's cheaper than hormone replacement therapy. This entire ordeal has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I feel that writing this review is the LEAST I could do. I have lost confidence in the ability of KP physicians to provide quality medical care for their patients.

This is why I love the HMO... the doctor talked to me for more than 45 minutes. We went from one health issue to another. No problem... he listened and gave me great information and all the referrals I needed.

Quite unprofessional. Kept receiving personal phone calls during appointment. Rushed me along.
