Last year my opthamologist retired and I needed to find a new doctor. I chose Dr Barfel for his youth and his credentials. I just completed my second annual visit and was very happy with CEI, Dr. Barfel and his assistant. It was a very efficient and thorough exam with helpful advice and explanation. I am very pleased with my experience at CEI and would highly recommend Dr. Barfel.

I was fortunate to have LASIK done by Dr. Barfell. He explained everything clearly and compassionately before and after my procedure, and the results far exceeded my expectations (I now have 20/15 vision in both of my eyes with zero side effects). I'm thrilled with my new vision and thankful to have been in Dr. Barfell's hands.

Dr. Barfell treated my corneal scarring with PRK lasering. He was informative and caring during the procedure and follow up visits.

I have had severe nearsightedness since I was 8 years old and dealt with glasses and then disposable contact lenses daily. I did not think there was an option for me to correct my vision until working with Dr. Barfell and the team at CEI. Before the procedure, I felt like the team explained everything clearly and gave me time to determine if this was something I wanted to do. Now it has been a month after my procedure and it is life changing to be able to see without assistance. I am able to travel, be outdoors, and life my life without the vulnerability that comes with severe nearsightedness. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to correct my vision!
