Both doctors listened to me and asked really good questions. In my quest to figure out what is wrong with me, I've had so many doctors who cut me off and talk at me without asking questions or arguing with what I'm saying is my reality. I didn't get that here. I don't have an answer but I felt good about the visit and potential next steps.

Truly a good experience. The issue was explained, all options covered to includes risks, and a path forward was chosen.

Finding I had a brain tumor attached to my brain stem was nothing short of terrifying. Dr. Bauer came highly recommended and in working with him you quickly understand why. He is amazingly talented and a stabilizing presence as you go through the process. After major brain surgery I have not had a single complication, if your ever in the unfortunate position to need such a surgery then consider yourself blessed if Dr. Bauer is one to perform it!

All the other doctors that I saw gave me little hope to survive the surgery. Dr. Bauer never even touched on the odds of survival. I watched his face as he saw the X-ray's for the first time (neck) and there was never a look of puzzlement on his face--he knew right away what he wanted to do and told me so. This gave me all the hope in the world so I told him that it was a go. So far I can swallow without my throat plugging up and with some patience on my part (neck brace) will be able to hold my neck straight.I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Bauer to anyone.
