Dr. Andrew James Beaulieu, MD

I had to find a new doctor, so I chose Dr. Beaulieu. Didn't even know the name of the condition that the ER diagnosed me with. He had to read the description of said condition off of the handout provided by the ER. I have epiploic appendagitis and I came in to get a note for a leave of absence (one week) from my job, didn't happen. Although Dr. Beaulieu knew nothing about the condition beforehand, and although the ER thought MORPHINE was appropriate for my pain, he decided I'm all good to go back to work immediately. During the physical exam, he ignored me and cut me off when I tried to tell him that he was causing a great amount of pain, and continued to talk over me. Unrelated but relevant, he also talked down to me about my long, well-documented history of chronic illness. His lack of knowledge, compassion and bedside manner means I will not be seeing him again.
