Dr. Andrew David Berke, MD

After my CT Angiogram, Dr. Berke came to my bedside and calmly informed me that I needed open heart surgery. This came as a total surprise to me. Due to my age he thought it better to stent my RCA the same day and 3 days later my LAD . There is no doubt in my mind that this outstanding Cardiologist saved my Life . His bedside manner was calming , reassuring, and to the point. His aftercare was equally professional, he takes time to explain further procedures, and prescribed medication explaining in detail the reason for such. I never felt rushed. And Kudos to his superb staff, especially Corin who helped ease my anxiety and made it all so smooth. I highly recommend Dr A Berke EMM

Dr Berke is the doctor I trust the most for his skill, his judgement and my experience as his patient for over 10 years...very pleasant staff as well! I find him to be warm, informative and detail oriented. I highly recommend Dr Berke .. I have referred others and they say the same. I thank him for coming to the hospital on a holiday weekend 10 years ago when I at age 49 had a heart attack and needed stents. I was scared but he and his cath lab team were amazing and caring! ??

While Dr. Burke is known as a respected and trustworthy doctor, he is simply unprofessional, bad with his patients, and rude. He does not disclose what he is doing when doing procedures. He makes mistakes and then attempts to cover up his mistakes in an unprofessional manner. He communicates poorly with both his patients and their family members, often keeping everyone in the dark. When he does make mistakes, he fails to hold himself accountable for them. He is nasty and entitled. He is rude and can be a bully. I understand that this man has been a respected doctor but he is truly unprofessional

Dr. Berke is the most skilled invasive cardiologist on the Island. I have seen many doctors over the years and his bedside manner is calming and reassuring. He takes his time to explain and you never feel rushed. He is exceptionally knowledgeable in his field, but also has a wide range to knowledge of medicine. His office staff is always nice and accommodating. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Dr Berke is a very highly qualified interventional cardiologist. His credentials are second to none and he happens to be a very nice and caring person as well.
