Dr. Andrew R Brookner, MD

ZERO STARS Dr. Brookner is horrible as a person and an even worst doctor. He makes inappropriate comments, "the me too movement is ruining business". He is incompetent and I implore you to not subject yourself to this poor excuse for a doctor. And bottom line he was not able to correct my problem, which my new doctor did. I never write reviews but I wish I had known this before wasting 6 months with this JERK. He let the pain numbing medication wear off and then sliced into my eyelid because it was Friday and he was trying to do two procedures on two different patients at the same time so he could go home. Torture. Unethical

It was almost three years after my first iritis/uveitis flareup before he remembered to suggest that I get tested for the assortment of possible underlying conditions, and I found out from my next doctor, an iritis/uveitis specialist, that he was waaay overmedicating my flareups. He did both of my cataract surgeries, and another ophthalmologist complimented his work, but I required a YAG Laser procedure after the second one...only about a 30% risk...so I had some reason for displeasure. On top of that, he's very cavalier about patients' time. He was 45 minutes late getting back from lunch the day of my last visit, and when I said something, he copped an attitude...told me that he had had business. There's others!

Seems good at what he does but staff cant book properly. Id suggest go elsewhere as there are enty of good doctors out there. I will not return
