Dr Croak always answered my questions thoroughly, and was gentle and reassuring as was his staff. Procedures were explained prior to each exam, and his staff were supportive. After my surgery, my incontinence was corrected , and no further incidences were experienced. Additionally, the neuro transmitter also relieved much of my low back pain. I am very satisfied with the results. The Axonics program is a great tool for older women. Thanks so much for your care and concern.

I was very pleased with Dr. Croak from the beginning. My daughter also had a great experience with him. I was very happy with the surgery as well. I had no pain and feel much better. Everybody has been just super. I would recommend Dr. Croak and his staff.

I drove over three hours to see Dr. Croak and he literally saved my life. I was having horrible pain and was diagnosed with an ovarian mass in my hometown. I was told no one could help me. They suggested I see him because I also had a large pelvic organ prolapse. My pain got worse and he emergently removed my ovary, which had a ostrich egg sized borderline tumor. I healed up from that and eventually underwent prolapse repair and I feel so much better. My family says I went from looking like death to very looking very healthy. I love Dr. Croak and won’t mind the long drive next year to see him just to get a Pap smear!

Dr Croak is not only kind, but also a very skilled surgeon. I am disappointed to see a couple nasty reviews on here. I have had the sacralcolpopexy surgery with him, and it changed my life. I was uncomfortable with bladder prolapse for a very long time and had trouble emptying my bladder. I had urgency and was in the bathroom every 30 minutes. I was embarrassed to talk with anyone about it, and even avoided intimacy with my husband. I had been to a couple different doctors and no one would help me. One doctor even told me to "push it back up"! I was starting to lose hope. I recall during my consultation with Dr. Croak a very specific discussion regarding potential urinary leakage after this type of surgery. It is also on the surgery consent form. In fact, I did have to wear a pad for urinary leakage after surgery, but I was so happy to not have the uncomfortable bulge between my legs and I was able to empty my bladder well enough that I was only urinating every 4 hours. Dr Croak… encouraged me to have specialized physical therapy to strengthen my pelvic floor muscles. After 4 weeks, I was leak-free. I am also able to be intimate with my husband again. The staff in the office were also very kind and helpful. A nurse called me to see how I was doing after surgery. I was seen one week after my surgery and again at 6 weeks then 6 months. I think this is their protocol so I don't understand how people can rate the follow up any less than 5 stars. And speaking of the staff, there is nothing but respect and admiration for Dr Croak. I was nervous about surgery and the nurse was very reassuring that I was in good hands. The nurse practitioner who I saw for my first visit to the office spoke very highly of him. I'm sad to see there is a review clearly lying about the staff "warning" her outside the room. How absurd! I also sent my sister-in-law to him for mesh erosion and prolapse that came back after surgery somewhere else that no one would repair for her. He was able to help her immensely. I am very pleased with my outcome and will continue to recommend him. He is always looking out for the best interest of his patients and he is an honest man. I had prolapse without incontinence and Dr. Croak fixed this wonderfully. I developed some daily droplet leakage and was concerned a new problem started related to the prolapse surgery . Dr Croak told me this may happen as he does with everyone, so this eased my mind greatly. Prolapse patients, he said, often have over active bladder or new weaknesses that come about and it's better to wait to see if they come about rather than be over aggressive and cause complications on the first surgery. He was right - I had some over active bladder and it was fixed with pelvic floor therapy! It sounds like the first patient who wasn't satisfied had the same problem and maybe my comments will help her expectations be more realistic. Rather than blame, call him and go see him again. There is a reason he's busy - he's great at fixing problems and he's dedicated!
