Dr. Andrew Michael Eaton, DO

I had just left a primary care appointment and went straight to Mercy ER where I was seeking IV hydration for severe dehydration. I had brought notes from my clinic visit so they had a recent history I assume I'm going to get my IV, hopefully feel better and go home. Dr Eaton took an additional step to ensure my well-being and did another test. The additional test not only showed that most everything was OK, but he also caught that I had pneumonia. I had already been sick in bed for three weeks and had just about had enough. Had he not caught this I would've gotten sick again. He could've just gone off the clinic notes and let it be, but he went above and beyond to make sure I was OK. I am very thankful

He gave me the impression that he knew everything about all medical conditions, and would not listen when I tried to explain my problem. He would not immediately contact my Doctor that instructed me to go to the ER. After sitting in the ER for 5 1/2 hrs the Doctor finally called my doctor. The treatment for the condition was simple, and I could have been in and out in 1 hour. As it turned out, I ended up getting admitted to the hospital as a result of my kidneys being shut down for 5 hours. Just the kind of treatment you do not want to be a part of!
