Dr. Andrew Jay Faskowitz, DO

I've been seeing Dr. Faskowitz for over 2 yrs. He is very dedicated to his profession and takes his oath of care very seriously. In the course of treating me, he's made it his priority to educate me when I ask questions concerning my health/treatment and has allowed me to participate in my care plan. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Faskowitz has been a Godsend to both my daughter and my husband. He is brilliant, extremely competent, extraordinarily caring and, and he respects his patients and discusses their health problems and possible treatments thoroughly. He is effective with palliative care; wrote a script for medical marijuana for my husband who has Parkinson's Disease, an action for which our family gives silent and verbal thanks to him every day. It has lessened my husband's suffering and anxiety markedly, and it enables him to do physical actions such as standing with help, doing yoga-type movements with his therapist, and speaking with more clarity. We feel very fortunate in having found Dr. Faskowitz to treat my daughter and my husband. He has made huge improvements in their quality of life...and mine--I am my husband's caregiver. Carol Zaback

Dr. Faskowitz was so very kind and clear with information. He left nothing out, explaining everything in detail. Never made me feel dumb for asking questions. He is very caring and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Faskowitz is an excellent doctor. He is unbelievably knowledgeable and intelligent and is a very caring and compassionate doctor. I have a long medical history and have seen approximately 30 specialists from well known facilities. He is by far one of the top 5. He is just an all round amazing individual.

A doctor I feel I can trust who will stand with me while my disease progresses. My husband and I are both happy that we found him. He is very professional, human, and skilled. A very rare find in these medical times.

Couldn't ask for a better nureologist! He always listens and remembers what you say. I always feel like he cares for me more than I do myself. He pushes to get answers anD dont stop. NEVER have I seen any kind of doctor like him. He definitely is worth seeing!!

I have been suffering from numerous bone and nerve diseases that i have sought treatment at every hospital remotely affiliated with the bones. I've had numerous doctors diagnosing me incorrectly for many years. Only one doctor prior to Dr. Faskowitz (Gina C Greco, DO) have accurately diagnosed me. Dr Faskowitz is an outstanding Neurologist/Pain Management Specialist. His bedside manner is something I was unfamiliar with other than Dr. Greco. He spends all the time needed from the patient with them to explain, review tests with you. Where as other doctors just blow you off. This man has not left my side (figuratively,) he has called me at home personally after a mishap of my own doing...when I did not believe there was anything to be done. He made sure I was comfortable, safe and he saw me in his office the following morning. This man is a fantastic doctor, as is Dr. Greco(Plainview, NY).

I have pain in my entire spine Dr. Faskowitz is the only Doctor in many months that has given me hope. Seeing Doctor Faskowitz was like going to another planet for care, he is that good. I don't understand the other negative reviews Dr. Faskowitz spent the necessary time with me explaining what is causing my pain and gave me many new options to help relive it, options that a dozen other doctors knew nothing about or didn't take the time to research for me. He is the best doctor I have seen in the past 45 years, he's like Dr. House on steroids. If you have a problem with pain that other doctors couldn't help you with other that drugs, do yourself a favor and make an appointment to see Doctor Faskowitz. If he is booked for a few weeks out make the appointment anyway he worth the wait.

Staff make appointments and then can't find you when you get there. Happened multiple times because they noted the wrong time. Dr. doesn't let you speak he just talks and talks even if you already know what he is explaining he just keeps on going. Doesn't converse and listen to patient. Didn't feel like he cared about me or my condition. And outrageously expensive for simply prescribing medications. Would not recommend.

I have had really bad migraines forever and he helped me through them. I use to get them almost every day and now I get one maybe once a month if that.
