Dr. Gassman, a board-certified plastic and breast reconstruction surgeon, joined PRMA in January 2021. He earned his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at UCLA, and trained in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. He pursued further specialization with a fellowship in breast and reconstructive microsurgery, including facial reanimation, at UTSW in Dallas. Dr. Gassman is a dedicated researcher and educator, focusing on pain reduction and recovery pathways in breast reconstruction, and is a member of the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Andrew Gassmann was my surgeon and he is the best! He answered all my questions and would never rush our appointments. He always takes his time and makes sure that you understand everything that is going to be happening with your surgery. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

One of the best! Talented, kind, and easy going, Dr.Gassman sets the bar high for professionalism that's above and beyond. Shares info graciously, answers questions without judgement, and his results are artistic and impressive! Great office and staff, this is the future of medicine done right.

I would highly recommend Dr. Gassman. He definitely takes the time to talk to you and to give you options for the type of procedure you would need or like to have done. I was really impressed with the way he explained everything, and he always went over everything as needed before surgery. I was really nervous initially about surgery but because he took the time to talk to me it really made me feel calmer about everything. Definitely knowledgeable and talented. He did several of my surgeries, the last one being Diep flap. Another thing I appreciated was that he put my health first with every procedure and was able to trouble shoot as well when it was needed. He did an amazing job, and I am really happy with the results.

I will be forever grateful to Dr. Gassman and his team. He is kind, caring, and takes time to listen. His nurse Joyce was very helpful and kind. Thank you for making me feel comfortable. I highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr.Gassman was very nice. He answered and explained everything I asked him. I have said this repeatedly to only one who asks that he is a magician because my results are simply magnificent. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gassman to anyone!

Dr. Gassman was so thorough in walking me through the process of decision making in my journey through breast cancer treatment and reconstruction. His manner is caring and wonderful and his staff is the same. I would surely choose Dr. Gassman again if the need arose!

I thought my surgery from someone on the mainline (who shall not be named!) was ok. When I spoke with my girl friend she had the same thing done by Dr Gassman. Hers was so good. I was not happy. I made an appointment. He was so easy to talk to. He fixed me up and what difference. Ladies take it form me do your homework!!
