No empathy was told there’s nothing he could do, he didn’t even want to give me a Cortizone shot. I was in tears and in pain! Had to go get a second opinion and turns out I need surgery. He wouldn’t give me an MRI either. So glad I went elsewhere will never go back here!

On one appointment, they failed to review my physical therapist's notes prior to my visit, sent in a physician's assistant rather than the doctor, and ended up sending me for an MRI. When I called to get the MRI results, they told me I had a tear and would need to come in to discuss treatment options. However, when I arrived for the appointment, the nurse asked me why I was visiting and who referred me (obviously he hadn't even looked at my chart before calling me back to the exam room) and Dr Gelven told me there was nothing on my MRI. Two appointments that I was told were necessary and paid for, ended up being something that could have been handled over the phone. A total waste of time and money that has left me feeling frustrated and hopeless. I could handle being told there is nothing that can be done. i can't handle being told I have something that can be fixed and then going in to schedule it and being told there is nothing wrong with me.

Made my pain worse by giving me injections without having a diagnosis, then said nothing was wrong with me.

Me and my husband had shoulders worked on by Dr. Gelven. He is a phenomenal physician and we both would recommend him to anyone. He is a very caring, compassionate and thorough physician. We will definitely continue going to him as needed. Thank you Dr. Gelven!!

Dr Andrew Kelvin is one of a kind And is one surgeon that listens to his patients, gets to know them and their symptoms. Highly recommend. he also is a very respectful physician.

Very personable and thorough. I felt that Dr Gelven listened to me and explained the diagnosis and treatment plan in a way that was understandable.

My Son had knee surgery done by Dr. Gelven. I was very impressed by his work he had done to repair my son's toren Meniscus. He explained very well what he done to repair my sons Meniscus and shown us the before and after picture of the repair. I think I can speak for his Father and Step Mom as well we were confident putting my son under his care. I highly recommend Dr Gelven to everyone. Thank yopu for taking such good care of my Son
