Dr. Andrew Richard Greene, DO

My 9:00 appointment started at 9:30. Dr came in and said he reviewed my MRI. He didn’t explain or show me the issues that the MRI revealed. He then did what I assume was a strength test. Again he didn’t comment on whether I had a difference in the two sides of my body. Then he said he was a surgeon but he wouldn’t recommend surgery just an injection. He never provided any options for treatment. I told him that steroid injections do not work for me. At that point he appeared to be frustrated and asked me what I wanted. During the whole encounter I did not feel as if he was treating me as a human being. Rather just something to get out of his office. I was very disappointed.

Dr. Greene completed a discectomy on a severe herniated disk. I was told I would have NO PAIN after surgery, as I walked out the door during the consult. I was told by the doctor he would get me in ASAP to surgery. It took 6 weeks to get surgery. Insurance company said doc requested that date, doc said no. Who is lying? I was first person in at 6:30am for surgery. Didn’t get home until 4:30 pm. No after surgery visit from Dr. Dr. Greene didn’t know whether to admit me. I was completely snowed with meds. No Dr. around to do paperwork. Dr left to go home. The pain in back, butt and leg never went away. 8 months later at follow up appt. Dr. Greene said it’s a 90 % success rate, there is nothing I can do. What?! I asked Dr. Greene for my options. Dr. Andrew Greene hands me his business card with the words “ Nevro - spinal cord stimulator “ written on it. That’s it!!

Conservative, understanding of symptoms and great recommendation for treatment

I struggled with excruciating leg pain due to a bulged disc. I tried everything for relief; chiropractor, pain meds, steroid injections and nothing worked. I lived on my couch for months becauasefge pain was so bad I couldn’t walk up the stairs or sleep flat in my bed. My 15 year old daughter did the cooking, cleaning, shopping, and anything else I needed done. I was in tears even walking 10 feet to the bathroom. When I did get up I couldn’t stand up straight. I was bent over completely at the waist. Finally agreeing to surgery, Dr. Green had me in and out of surgery within 2 hours and home the same day. The entire team was amazing and answered every question and addressed every worry I had. They each walked me through everything that was going to happen and were just so great to work with especially on a first surgery. Immediately after surgery, I was getting dressed to leave and I was able to stand straight for the first time in months. I cried getting dressed. I am thankful every… day that Dr. Green was my surgeon and would highly recommend him. I am pretty sure he saved my life.

Very understanding of how I was feeling always has a smile on his face and makes you feel like a person not a number very sweet man all around

Excellent results on a difficult surgery and would recommend him for any type of spine surgery.

saw him once insisted on back surgery within a month of 1st visit, then released from hospitle same day as neurosurgery with a weaker pain med then was on prior than surgery when called and told him they wernt helping him pretty much told me tuff it out and if i cant get out of bed go to bathroom in something and have someone empty it!?!?!? if i needed hospitle care y didnt they keep me in hospitle? very disgusted with him and the neuroscience group. he then referred me to p[ain mgnt through his clinic and then the dr jus ups and leaves the p[ractice with no warning to his patients and then cut off scripts after 4 yrs being on narchotic meds not even weened off but just cut off them instantly and told they cant help me anymore!?!?
