As always , Dr. Obma and his team are always very helpful, caring and always answer any questions I have.

From initial meeting to the surgery, everything and everyone performed in a very professional manner making sure the patient questions and comforts were of the upmost importance! Dr. Obma is my preferred go to surgeon! He performed this same surgery on my left knee less than two years ago and I was up running and road biking in 5 weeks! Thanks for giving me my life back!

Ruined my shoulder! This doc runs a surgery mill ! Will do anything to get you to surgery.. he’s all about money not patient care ! Avoid him

My 17 year-old daughter had hip surgery 7 months ago to repair an extensive labrum tear. Dr. Obma and his staff were excellent right from the start. Dr. Obma made sure my daughter understood what was going to happen, and his friendly demeanor put her at ease right away. After surgery, Dr. Obma came out to tell us how it went and showed us pictures taken during the repair. The staff at OSI were all great and made sure we had everything we needed once she was home. Dr. Obma himself called to follow-up and see how she was doing. He is very busy but never rushes through appointments and always makes us feel as if he has nothing but time to answer all of our questions. If either of my daughters every needs a sports-related surgery in the future, there will be no doubt that we'll be going to Dr. Obma!

Dr. Obma is by far the best orthopedic that I've ever seen. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he's also very personable. Seeing him is more like seeing a good friend who just happens to be an orthopedic. I wouldn't trust anybody else with my knees

Hes done both my knees& going to be 2nd surgery on my right..hes also done my husbands surgery..I waited for him to return practicing to get my knees and shoulder done..hes was worth the waiting..THE BEST!!

I had appointment, Dr Obma spent less than 3 minutes listening to me and examining me. He sent me for an MRI, called me day after MRI was done and told me I tore my rotator cuff, surgery would be needed. I was in pain, so agreed. 2 weeks after my surgery, he was gone. One of his disinterested partners at Prevea assumed my care, but I developed a frozen shoulder. I went elsewhere for my 2nd procedure, and had to have scar removal and re-repair of my tendon repair. Thankfully, I am finally doing well, no thanks to Dr O. Would not recommend.

I am another patient whose surgery failed :-( I received the same excuse...due to defective parts. Sure would be nice if the manufacturer would take some responsibility or some sort of compensation was negotiated....nope!

Although I really like Dr. Obma, my rotator cuff surgery failed. I was told this was due to defective parts used and not the actual surgery itself. I was also told that I am among 30 some other surgeries done within the same time frame that failed. Talk about disappointed! He moved so no follow-up with him. Had a second surgery.

Dr Obma did surgery on my Rt Rotator Cuff in Nov 2011 and he was outstanding. His staff was just as good. Dr Obma is down to earth and had good bedside manner.
