Dr. Andrew Jay Halperin

I still have that letter , on my fridge , months later.....so I can see it and be happy. I dont know what he did to get fired (I should have complained but just wanted to forget it ever happened)but I’m so happy he did. My one visit with Dr Halperin was painful , degrading , and demoralizing. He accused me of having an “immaculate conception” and yelled at his staff to give me a pregnancy test. My husband and I can not conceive due to him being infertile and it’s a very sore spot. I have fibroids (which I told him). Pap was so aggressive I bled out onto the floor. Truly the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had. I cried in the parking lot for 20 minutes before I could drive. His staff was nice and seemed embarrassed at his behavior. I hope he tries another profession.

Ive always been a little uncomfortable at the idea of having a male obgyn. But now i wish i hadnt been. Hes made me feel even more at ease than most of the women ive seen! So polite and professional and cares about his patients! He doesnt even have an after hours answering service. If you call the office after hours no matter what time it goes straight to him. Im really impressed!

I was in the hospital for six days after my son was delivered by c-section. He came to see me every day at the hospital. Just to look in on us even when he didn't need to.

Very inappropriate, Ladies beware.
