Dr. Andrew Jason Harper, MD

Everyone in Dr. Harper's office was very polite and comforting. Although, he changed our treatment plan after he found out our insurance covers IVF. We had agreed to 4 rounds of inseminations. After the first one failed, he called us back to discuss IVF. My husband and I believe he did this due to my insurance, and for his financial gain. He did not want to address all the issues that we were having, and pushed IVF, which is something we made clear we were not ready to try until all other options had been exhausted. We have transferred to ART, and are hopeful for a more honest experience.

I'd like to say a big thank you to Dr.Harper, Jennifer, Chelsea, Lynn and receptionist. I was at Dr.Harpers for about a year and he was always reassuring. I am young, but have ovulate dysfunction. I had one biochemical and one miscarriage that resulted in a D&C. They never pressured me in to an IUI or other surgeries. Always got me in to appointments even if last minute. They never gave up on me. I did 12 days of Menopur, triggered with ovidril and am now 11 weeks pregnant. I love their office and know if I ever had trouble again, I'll be welcomed back. Please give Dr.Harpers office a try and realize he is going to be up front about the realistic expectations you should have about a time frame to get pregnant. You can't expect miracles if your case Is extreme complicated. My case was pretty simple and it still took me a year for this pregnancy to be established. I was patient and knew my time would come. Trust him and the nurses.

Great Dr. And Staff

My very first appointment was spent with him harshly explaining to me that I had less than a 2% chance of getting pregnant every month. I spent almost $300 for him to tell me that. Every time I went to his office he only ran blood work and an ultrasound. He refused to do any kind of standard diagnostic testing, including an HSG. I would spend over $250 at every appointment. I was having the same work done at my OB/GYN for the cost of a co-pay. I actually got pregnant on my own and lost the baby while I was a patient and when they called to confirm the miscarriage, they wanted me to schedule an IUI. No testing. And no sympathy. I finally transferred over to the ART facility. My first appointment there was spent doing initial testing. They took 19 vials of blood and performed a pap along with an ultrasound. The doctor was incredibly kind and got to know us. He told us that Dr. Harper's notes said that I had low progesterone - something he never bothered to tell us. By the… end of the day, we found out I had MTHFR and a mutation on my PAI-1 gene, which was contributing to my pregnancy losses. They did an HSG and discovered that BOTH of my tubes were blocked. After I had surgery to remove the blockages, I had an IUI along with hormone injections and am now 10 weeks pregnant. I have to take blood thinners to keep my blood clotting disorder in check to prevent miscarriage (something I would not have known to do if I had stayed a patient of Dr. Harper's). It only took the ART facility 3 months. I saw Dr. Harper for 3 months and didn't get anything from him except a ridiculous bill for no answers. If we had listened to him and went ahead with an IUI without doing an HSG, we would have spent that money for nothing. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH HIM. HE DOESN'T CARE AT ALL.

After trying to conceive for 3 years, I was referred to Dr. Harper. We tried several things like IUI and timed intercourse before attempting IVF. We were successful with IVF on the first round and now have a happy, wonderful 8 month old blessing. Dr. Harper and his staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

We LOVED Dr. Harper (and especially his staff)! Our nurse was so wonderful! We were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. After many months and multiple rounds of IUIs, meds, and injections, we decided that IVF was the next option for us. Dr. Harper and his staff were so helpful and supportive through the whole process, and after our first round, we ended up with beautiful, twin boys nine months later! Some people might think Dr. Harper is a little cold or uncompassionate, I think it's more that he is realistic and very knowledgable about his field (and true maybe a little bit "socially awkward"). It was what I needed while going through infertility. I needed and received realistic answers to my questions and concerns, which is difficult with a diagnosis of "unexplained" infertility, and given realistic treatment options. The nurses were always very open and willing to answer ANY questions, and were very prompt with returning my calls. I was not pressured into going any particular… route of treatment. I wanted to "take it slow" with TTC, in order to try to find answers of what was wrong, and never once was I pressured to go straight to IVF. Both my husband and I love the staff and were so happy we could introduce them to our "miracle" baby boys when they arrived!

We had a great experience with Dr. Harper!Even though our case was unexplained infertility, he pointed out one aspect which could be causing the problem and he was right! We went ahead with full faith in him and he was there to patiently answer our endless questions. We are glad that we chose him as our RE. The first IVF clicked! Our daughter turned one last week!

This was a horrible experience. Dr. Harper did not listen to concerns of ours. He did surgery for a septum in my uterus, but my current doctor has said that he didn't remove it. He assured me he did. My OBGYN did an HSG and found my tubes to be blocked. Dr. Harper didn't believe this and wouldn't redo the HSG. He told me that they weren't blocked. My current doctor redid the HSG and says that both are fully blocked. He had absolutely no bedside manner. He has wasted my time and money!

Love this office! I've been seeing Dr. Harper for 2 years and have always had excellent medical care. Wonderful, caring nurses! Highly recommend!

Dr. Harper is the most rude,arrogant, disengaged,cold,disrespectful healthcare providers I have ever encountered. Dr. Harper does not care about his patients and couldn't care less if you achieve pregancy or not. In the middle of a very emotional experience he stated " I have a new patient to see" and walked out of the room. The people who have rated him "excellent" were probably so desperate to get pregnant that they did not realize how inhumane he was treating them. Dr. Harper and his "nurse" Christine are the worst things that have ever happend to us. SAVE YOURSELF!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR PREGNANCY ALL HE WANTS IS YOUR MONEY!!! If you do not listen to this advice and you go to see this "doctor" you deserve what you get!!
