I almost lost a kidney after being operated on by Whitney Dunham. After being seen in the ER it was determined that I needed a hysterectomy . My dr. was not in town so I was sent to Dr. Dunham. After waking up from anesthesia, I immediately felt like something was not right. I'm an EMT. After telling her that I was concerned she said, "you medical people can be the worst patients, plus you're a pt at the pain clinic so you have no tolerance for pain". I insisted that something was wrong. I was released the next day even though only blood came out when I tried to urinate. Twice a week for 4 weeks I called the office complaining of bleeding and intens belly,& back pain. I was told I only thought I was having so much pain was because I was a patient at the pain clinic. After the 4th wk I was rushed into emergency surgery. She had sewn my ureter up during my surgery. I was left with a foli bag for over a wk and had to have my uterus burned to stop the bleeding. I'm still messed up.

If you want to be left hanging in the dark about what’s going on with you, be lied to, and if you would like to be waiting days on a phone call from the doctors office you are never going to receive, this is the place for you!!!! Doctor is very judge mental and does not follow up with you. Poor service. Finding a new physician.

Waited over 15 minutes in the exam room doctor did not come in very friendly at all lady at the front desk does not seem knowledgeable always leaving the desk to go ask the question if you ask her any questions or any information

straight forward and to the point. very direct approach, without sugar coating. I love this approach. gave alternative and options that I was to make a decision on with my family. follow up was brief and proceeding was a breeze. Love this provider!

11 years later I still think about how horrible this doctor was and how she ruined my life on her decision on how to deliver both my children. Yes both! I made the dumbest mistake of my life and went to her again, only because my second I was pregnant with while my first was eight months and I was still seeing her for postpartum. My first child ripped me to the highest degree. She didn't tell me not to push to hard or fast then after it was too late she started laughing about it. I was so sore for months. She stuck her whole arm in me because the placenta broke and she didn't stick me up well AT ALL! I was on depression pills with my second pregnancy, I had came back from out of town and tried to tell her the doctor there prescribed me the same thing she is giving me and it didn't work, she gave me a nasty look and said that I need to double my dosage, that it's not the same! It was rude and awkward. Then another doc from my hometown said my second baby looked to be very big… and since I had a complicated first pregnancy it was my decision to get a c section. Nope! Dr west said naturally is better BUT he did look big so I could get a car section but she wants to weigh him before to make sure to avoid c section. She never did that and when I mentioned it she said " oh well he didn't look that big" what!? He came out 10 lbs and blue!!! They said he was bruised from no room because he was so big smh. Got torn apart again and she insisted on stretching me like crazy from him to come out. Didn't stitch me up well again, the epidural guy was rude and said he was going to leave also he shoved it in my back and I heard a crackling and had back pain for months. I'm sure he isn't associated with her but still! Long story short she isn't compassionate or anything of that nature, after her being pregnant at the time I was I thought we could relate but nope! My sex life to this day is still blah because of her poor doctoring decisions. I hope she reads this and knows she's ruined my life and now I have to fix what she broke. I hope you get a good chuckle out of this you sorry excuse for a doctor. I feel bad for the Maryland patients.

Good she is closing that place what s nightmare,she has no bed side manners,she has no medical knowledge,If you look in her past somewhere you might find. Fighting stories,good she is closing her office,Office staff was street, she didn't listen. Please give her car so she can drive far ,far,away from huntsville.No good bys for her,just go.

She is a horrible doctor! It took her over a month to give me test results that were critical to my health. She tried to force me to take meds that were not necessary during my pregnancy and tried to make feel guilty when I refused. Her staff was very unprofessional and would text and hang out and talk in front of my room. Once I was in the room waiting for the doctor, I waited over an hour each time. When I was in the process of switching doctors I even had issues getting my own lab records to give to the new doctor! Im so happy with my decision to switch doctors.
