Dr. Donald Glenn Aulds, MD

Dr. Aulds does not demonstrate proper listening to his parients. He does not take seriously the size of the child during pregnancy and how it can effect both labor and delivery and the health of the child. He doesn't seem to have a sixth sense as to when something is going wrong during labor. He doesn't appear to pay attention to both the patient and the baby during labor. He demonstrates poor problem solving abilities. He seems to be "unaware" of warning signs that things could be going wrong both during pregnancy and during delivery. Because of these weak areas of his, my son died after labor and delivery. He does a very poor job of listening to his patients as well as listing to the baby's signs of distress. Therefore, I would rate him as a very poor pregnancy and delivery doctor. I would also rate him a very very poor medical doctor for any kind of OBGYN medical problems. I would NOT recommend him to anyone and I would also recommend for young women to seek out WOMEN OBGYNs… for their pregnancy and deliveries. They tend to understand womens bodies better,

I find that Dr. Auld demonstrated poor prevention and on-site problem solving and monitoring during my delivery of my son. I clearly showed in my pregnancy that I was carrying a very large male child before delivery. There was no intervention to try and delivery the child early, During delivery I didn't find he was paying enough attention to me and he did not act when after about 12 hours with a large baby he did not intervene to deliver the baby safely through C-section. The end result was my son died and it also caused me years of biochemical problems and suffering because the stress of this pregnancy and delivery caused permanent severe hypothyroidism for me.

He is the first Doctor I have ever seen bring in a questionnaire to each visit. I would have a 100 questions and forget them when it was time to ask. He spent longer than 5 minutes with me and got to know me. He is excellent.

I was a patient of Dr. Aulds and he was my OB/GYN for my first pregnancy and my second. He was great when with my first pregnancy. The second time I went to him quite some time had past. This time when I went to him he was very different. I went to him and let him know that I was not doing well and he acted like he didn't have time to talk to me when I was in the office. I ended up loosing my baby and during the process he was very uncaring. He acted as if I was bothering him when I didn't make the decision that he wanted me to do although he gave me the choices. Then when I went in for a check up after loosing my baby the first thing he asked me was, "How's the little one?" I couldn't believe that he would ask me that. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I went to Dr. Aulds to be seen for gynecological problems. I was having pain and other female issues, but he kept telling me that nothing was wrong and didn't even let me have an ultrasound. I really felt that there was a problem, so I got a second opinion. The second opinion doctor came highly recommended and did an ultrasound right in the office to discover that my pain was from a huge ovarian tumor that required immediate surgery! Lost all confidence in Dr. Aulds since he basically ignored me when I told him of the pain and other problems I was experiencing. He seemed very nice, and may be great as an OB doctor, but wouldn't recommend him for gynecological issues.

Dr.Aulds and his staff are wonderful! I have never had to wait beyond 10 minutes other than unexpected circumstances that can obviously arise with having pregnant patients. He always taking his time explaining and answering questions during appointments, & never rushes you out the door. He has a wonderful bed side manner, and he took exceptional care of me during my pregnancy.

HE HAS BEEN MY DOCTOR SINCE I WAS 16. HE DELIVERED MY SON AND WILL BE DELIVERING MY NEW BABY. HE ALLOWED ME TO LABOR THE WAY I WANTED. HE KEPT ME INFORMED ABOUT MY LABOR AND EDUCATED AS TO WHAT WOULD NEED TO BE DONE IF ANYTHING WAS NEEDED. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT LIKE HIS TOP PRIORITY. HE KEEPS THE ENVIROMENT VERY CALM. I ALSO LIKE THAT IF A PROCEDURE AS TO BE DONE THEN HE LETS YOU FEEL NO PAIN OR DISCOMFORT. OF COURSE I'M SURE IT DEPENDS ON THE PATIENTS PAIN TOLERANCE, HOWEVER I HAVE NEVER EXPEREINCED ANY UNNECESSARY PAIN. I HAVE AND WILL ALWAYS REFERR MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO HIM.

his lack of concern required me to have an emergency c-section. I labored for 7 hours, with 2 rounds of pitocin (and no visit from him) before he decided to stop working in his garden to visit me. Mind you, i went into labor naturally... the pitocin was unneeded and i was too stupid to argue it. He decided baby was double footling breech and rushed me to surgery.
