Dr. Tyler Oneal Kirby, MD

Provided excellent care. Explained everything throughly and took his time to answer questions. Recommended highly from health care workers, how I came to see him.

Went to Dr. Kirby on a referral from my usual gynecologist because they found precancer cells in my uterine lining during a biopsy. He was the rudest, most arrogant and had the worst bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen or known. I'm a 46 year old insulin dependent diabetic with high blood pressure. I've fought with my weight my entire life. The first thing he does is to let ne know it's my fault that I have precancer, possibly cancer, because I eat too many carbs, sugar and I'm fat. I don't even eat the amount of carbs that the American Diabetes Association suggests in their diabetic diet plan! The last thing anyone needs to hear that's facing a potentially major health crisis is that it's all their fault! I'll never go back to this so called doctor.

THIS DOCTOR WAS AWESOME AT FIRST. MY MOTHER DECIDED AGAINST CHEMO FOR HER OVARIAN CANCER AFTER RESEARCH AND PERSONAL HISTORY WITH FRIENDS THAT HAD THE SAME DIAGNOSIS. SHE CONTINUED WITH MEDICAL CARE JUST DECLINING CHEMO. SHE HAD SURGERIES ETC. WHEN HER CANCER CAME BACK HER PCP WANTED HER TO SEE KIRBY FOR EXPLANATION ON THE SCAN SHE HAD AND WHAT THAT MEANT, HE BERATED HER AND TOLD HER I TOLD YOU TO HAVE CHEMO AND YOU SAID NO AND NOW HERE WE ARE. NOTHING I CAN DO (SHE WASN'T ASKING HIM TO DO ANYTHING TO HELP HER) FOR YOU NOW. I COULD HAVE HELPED YOU THEN. HE EVEN TOLD HER DEATH WAS NOT GOING TO BE FUN. YES. HE SAID THAT. THAT WAS ACTUALLY HIS WORDS. AWFUL. HORRIBLE. WHEN SHE WAS IN THE HOSPICE FACILITY THE WOMAN NEXT TO HER WAS ALSO A PATIENT OF HIS AND TOOK HIS PRECIOUS CHEMO TREATMENT AND DIED LESS THAN 6 MONTHS LATER. MY MOTHER HAD 2 GOOD YEARS BETWEEN INITIAL DIAGNOSIS AND HER DEATH. SHE WAS ONLY SICK HER LAST FEW MONTHS. I HAVE SUBMITTED THIS BEFORE YET IT DOESN'T SHOW… UP. JUST THE STARS. IF YOU'RE GOING TO SHOW THE GOOD REVIEWS YOU NEED TO SHOW ONES LIKE THIS. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DEALING WITH.

Truly the most horrible experience of having a procedure done of my life!! Biopsy done of the most sensitive area of a woman's body and feeling every cut and stick.!He said more pain meds were given than usual but that could've t be the case if I still felt everything! I was telling and crying because it was so painful ! I felt tortured and violated by this experience!I would'nt recommend this doctor!

In my opinion Dr. Kirby is an honest very professional get to the point oncologist gynoclogest Doctor who wants to get you cured and well again asap. He will answer any dumb or otherwise questions and go as deep into details as you want. He will not rush you in and out. I have questions every time I take the wife in. If your looking for a sugar coating of your cancer prognosis, look elsewhere. If you want to know what your outlook is and what to do about it. He's your Dr. He does conventional surgery, laparoscopy surgery, and Divinchi robotical surgery. He is also a specilest in chemo, which my wife is on now. He says he meets every week with a group of like Drs to discuss the latest treatments and trials. My wife is on her third chemo treatment as I type this review. I am very impressed with him so far.

Dr. Kirby is a consummate professional and a highly skilled surgeon. His reputation among the medical community is impeccable. If you are requiring surgery you should check out his you tube videos. I highly recommend and appreciate Dr. Kirby and his staff for the medical attention and surgery that I required.

Hi my name is Sandra Cates I just had surgery to remove a 8 centimeter ovarian cyst and both ovaries removed and the staff and Dr Kirby were FANTASTIC I am recovering GREAT and I would perfer anyone to Dr Kirby him and his staff are AWESOME

While Dr. Kirby was knowledgeable and I am sure he is a good surgeon, I felt berated. He kept going on about my age and the fact that my "parts" did not work anymore as if I were past expiration. I felt very uncomfortable and demeaned.

As soon as I stepped into his office I received both compassion and understanding. He acted very aggressively and quickly to fight the cancer. From the time of my diagnosis to cancer surgery only three weeks passed. At every step he made sure we knew the results of each test. After the surgery his RN called us three days later. She called us at 5:45 on a Friday afternoon so we would not have to wonder about the results! If you have gynecological cancer, Dr. Kirby is the surgeon for you!!! My heart is overwhelmed with thanksgiving!!!

I've been under Dr. Kirbys care for almost 3 years now. He tells you the truth and don't sugar coat anything. He's very caring and compassionate. I'm very lucky he's my Doctor!
