Dr. Theodore Theodosios Tsaltas, MD

Very smart Dr. If you have a vaginal skin disorder that does not clear up easily you need to see Dr Tsaltas. Lichen Sclerous is a chronic skin disorder that has serious complications and it seems most drs don't know anything about it. It is an auto-immune disease that is serious and it mimicks a yeast infection, more common in older women-60's .

I would look elsewhere for a gynecologist in the Knoxville area. He made some unbelievably insensitive remarks to me when I went to see him after a miscarriage - including an immediate recommendation for a hysterectomy. I'm not even a super sensitive person. But he talked at length about his true desire to be an opera singer and a number of other topics regarding himself and displayed no real concern for my situation, nor did he have any good advice. It left me with a very bad feeling, and I believe women deserve better care and an attentive doctor.

Very arrogant and likes to hear himself talk. In my case, he talked so much he didnt realize my baby was breech until he had me on the operating table. And I asked him several times if he though she had turned (!), because I was unsure. There are plenty of really good drs out there. I would steer clear of this one.

His office and staff are very courteous and approachable. Tsaltas is amazing!!! He is honest, prompt, and very professional. What sets him aside, for me, from my PCP and other Dr's I've experienced, is that he is very easy to talk to, for a make gynecologist, it's not awkward at all. I admire his work so much, that I insisted that my daughter chose his office to treat her during her pregnancy, and she as well have the same feelings and experiences that I do. If you are looking for a OBGYN, I insist that you give them at least a try, I promise you won't regret your decision!

Dr. Tsaltas took care of me when I suffered a miscarraige and my doctor was out of town. I was completely impressed by his skill, professionalism, compassion, and knowledge. I don't know how he is under normal circumstances - but in an emergency I could not have asked for a better doctor.

Dr. Tsaltas is an amazing doctor. He is gentle, caring, straightforward, concerned, very respectful and I will continue to go to him and highly recommend him.

Dr. Tsaltas was unable to stop talking about himself to provide me and my baby with adequate care. There are plenty of other very good drs out there. I would skip this one. I do not recommend him at all. My experience with the office staff was not good either. Several of them were surley and uncaring.

The staff and the Nurse Practitioner were very good, but the doctor's attitude was uncaring. And I'm not all that sensitive.

Dr. Tsaltas is a smart person, however in my experience, his arrogance, condecending attitude, and need to hear himself talk prevented him from making accurate assessments of my condition, even depsite me vocializing my concerns. I was very displeased with my experiene with him. I have since changed Dr. and I would advise anyone considering him as a Dr, to reconsider. The office staff is insensitive and cold. This is probably necessary if you are to survive employment in this office.

Dr. Tsaltas is a wonderful doctor. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He shows a genuine interest in you as a person, not just a patient. Even when the office is busy, he will take the time necessary to go over any questions and concerns. I highly recommend him--he is the best!
