Dr. Andrew Howard Heyman, MD

Over the course of many years and varying health issues, Dr. Heyman has successfully and skillfully treated several members of my family as well 15+ other individuals we personally know in Virginia. His compassion, insight, and commitment to both research and teach other physicians about the latest treatments and knowledge, makes him stand out amongst his medical peers. He is an incredible patient advocate. In this day and age, you need a doctor who will listen to you and work tirelessly to address the imbalances you may have. After personally being dismissed by many "mainstream" doctors over serious hormonal issues, fatigue, and metabolic imbalances, to name a few, Dr. Heyman has always delivered time and time again and helped us return to health and truly improve our health. My family cannot thank Dr. Heyman enough for what a wonderful MD he has been and the impact his excellent care has had on our lives and livelihood.

This dr is a complete crook. Does not care about the root cause of your illness what so ever. Only cares about mold and actinos and I hate to tell ya that’s not the route of all Illness. 13k dollars for treatment get one phone call a month and he rushes you off the phone and chats for 5 min for 1k bucks? Useless. I made it thru maybe half the protocol and he wanted 4k more dollars at the end of the year. Rushes you onto vip like it’s the cure all. Does not care about viral infections which cause most of the issues not Lyme not mold. So now I’m on vip and I’m supposed to check lipase levels constantly but he wants 4k dollars more to do that. Go to another dr he isn’t what you see on YouTube

I used to be a long time patient. Three of the four providers left and they hired a new NP who is not impressive. Very disappointing. Thank goodness the doctors and NP who left are still in the area.

This place was good when I started there about 6- 7 years ago...since then it’s rapidly gone downhill...most of the other doctors and the nurse practitioner left, all the really good front desk people left ( a few had been there for years)...the ones that replaced them weren’t friendly at all...the price for a new patient went from about 175 or so when I started there, and now it’s around $750 for your first appointment ( they don’t take insurance)...and then they were going to charge me the new patient fee when I had been going there for years simply because it had been over a year since my last visit! Talk about taking advantage of sick people...too bad cause this place used to be awesome.

Dr. Heyman is unique among doctors: he is constantly researching solutions for ailments most dictors don't know how to treat and don't wish to invest their energy unraveling complex symptoms presented by patients suffering from chronic infections, chronic inflammation and weakened immune systems. I would have lost all hope without Dr. Heyman's insights and dedication to improving patient health. He is brilliant yet humble. We could use thousands more doctors like Dr. Heyman.

this doctor is one of the three best I have ever known. Absolute trust is able to be given. No one could care more for his patients than Dr. Heyman. I was sick when traveling out of state. A friend said "what you are going to text him? He gave you his number? " I had the answer I needed in minutes and a called in prescription. I don't know of another doctor that I could text no matter how dire the emergency. He just really really cares. Dr. Heyman is always updating his knowledge too. He will look into new answers for problems. He fixed my back when no one could for 26 years! He helped me lose almost 70 pounds. He got a horrid auto immune problem under control. He is just amazing.
