My right shoulder was a mess. Torn labrum, torn biceps tendon, acromium process was pinching on some rotator cuffs. I had several doctors basically tell me there wasn't much I could do. Dr Islam presented a complex surgical plan that not only gave me my shoulder back, I was able to return to pitching live batting practice to the team I coach. He spends time with you, discusses options, answers questions. It would be great if ALL docs were this personable - he is a gem.

Doctor Islam just looked at my shoulder from the entrance and knew what was wrong. Kroger’s wouldn’t admit their fault in my accident. This Dr. Islam fixed my shoulder I was impressed no pain, and is still working to this date. Surgery was in 2011, still pain free.

Doc took the time to explain everything I wanted to know or question about my shoulder situation. He was great and gave me all the time needed.

I have visited Dr. Islam at the Rookwood office on several occasions. I have found Dr. Islam and his staff to be extremely courteous and professional. Dr. Islam has a fantastic bedside manner and is very caring about your needs. I highly disagree with a review I read about the office being messy! The only clutter I saw in the exam room was a box of tissues! Nothing else other than a chair and exam table, and computer of course! Highly recommend the office and especially Dr. Islam!ð???ð???

I made an appointment with doctor Islam thinking that I had frozen shoulder in both arms and I wanted to get it checked out. My appointment was on a Wednesday he had x rays done at his office informed me that my condition was much worse. He called around until he was able to find me an imaging center that accepted my insurance and within an hour I was getting a ct scan. He made arrangements to squeeze me in early the next morning to go over the results. After reviewing my scans with me the next morning and explaining just how much damage I had done he informed me that he had already figured a way to fit in surgery to repair my shoulder injury the very next day. By Friday night I was in recovery and he couldn't have made me feel any better about the very OVERWHELMING situation. To top it all off he made sure that he stopped in my room early the next morning just as he was getting ready to leave for vacation to make sure that I was comfortable and everything was okay before he left. I… would recommend him to anyone and everyone! I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through the entire situation without him.

Such a great personality! Always takes the time to explain everything to you! Great doctor! I wish they were all like him!

Wonderful Dr.He has a great bedside manner,takes time to listen to you .I had 3 surgeries on my right shoulder ,still hurt ALL the time.I finally woke up and searched for a new dr .I went to Dr Islam he told me what hehought it was ,sene me for a mri,did a total reverse shoulder replacement and now NO pain.I would recommend him to any one,he's the best.
