I had a facelift (really just some jowling) and face transfer with Dr. Kornstein....the fat transfer was invasive and left a great deal of bruising and swelling. When things were recovered....the fat transferred only last about 6 months...and the jowling returned...Dr. Kornstein said the fat transfer had failed and maybe we could try again in a few years....YEAH RIGHT! He didn't seem to care and suggested trying profound to help with the jowling at my expense. He makes a lot of promises...but beware of his promises.

Dr. Kornstein and his staff are great. The experience they provide brings peace of mind, and comfort. My procedure was painless, and I am very happy with my results. I plan on having Dr. Kornstein be my go to for my cosmetic surgery needs.

I am 46 and have been a patient of Dr. Kornstein since 1998—when I came to consult with him at age 27. Over the years he has performed about 7 surgeries on me as follows: upper blepharoplasty (eye job), liposuction of butt and tummy, fat transfer to face (my favorite and still going strong), silicone breast augmentation (gorgeous and never a problem, still loving them!), chin implant, endoscopic brow lift, nose (bespoke and befitting my face), and most recently the cutting-edge “J-Plasma” to my body for tightening after some additional lipo on inner thighs and tummy. With all this “work” done, one would think I may look “unnatural” or “too plastic.” Hardly! When people find out just what an “extreme makeover” I really am, they are absolutely shocked at how natural everything looks. Because I stayed with Dr. Kornstein all my life, and allowed him to be the gatekeeper of my procedures, I have avoided looking too done or being talked into things I don’t need. My earlier surgeries… improved me aesthetically (and went far to help my self-esteem and confidence which therefore improved my life immeasurably). The later surgeries have been to maintain my totally youthful appearance, which I have helped along with diet and exercise and stress reduction. Dr. K. has always offered me elegant enhancements that were appropriate at the time. Dr. Kornstein operates from a set of basic artistic principles that value harmony and symmetry. Therefore his “eye” for what would be most beautiful to each person’s face and body is keen. But that is not enough: he is a “master craftsman,” meaning, he knows exactly what he’s doing in the Operating Room to execute to the end result. But further, he keeps up on the latest techniques and best-in-class technology (lasers, machines, and such) to enhance his work. He communicates, questions, listens: all the things you want so you’re both clear on what is ultimately wanted. Best: he leaves his ego at the door and just focuses on being the best and doing his best for his patients. Very lucky that he made such a difference in my early life and continues to keep me looking fresh and pretty.

Fat grafting to forehead and temples took 10 years off my look. My face 3 weeks post op looks as it did when I was 38 years old. My eyes open up, my face has a V-shape, its really amazing. I was very skeptical, in no uncertain terms if you are in your 50's and Dr. Kornstein thinks fat grafting would be beneficial, do it!! Note to readers: I bruise for some reason so I had bruising though 2 weeks out Iooked good. If I was a woman and wore make-up could have been sooner. Also had Ulthera to upper chest (to get rid of man boobs) and my skin has already started lifting. Am wearing a body shaper to help, probably will wear it for a couple months to help the Ulthera lift the skin now that I see it working already. Ulthera was done on my lower abdominal above the pubic hair and below the chest from side to side.. Note: This is a huge area.. Had Profound administered to lower face and neck. Neck has already started tightening and the jowls and cheeks are showing signs though this is a… 3-6 month result... This one is a no brainer. Men and women have the same results though I think men have better recovery. I had no down time from the Profound.. Very little swelling. Dr. Kornstein determines the area and nurses execute the procedure to his strategic directions. Am ecstatic and am extremely excited to see what 3 and 6 months look like.. being am 3 weeks out. I will post pics closer the 2.5 - 3 months... It is rewarding to look in the mirror and see a mid 30 something instead of a 50 something (already!!! the fat grafting to temples and forehead is amazing!!! You can not even tell except I look younger)... now to keep the hair, diet and exercise (start to exercise ...someday haha) in check to complement the face and body...(and heal properly). Note to readers: I go to a plastic surgeon. I go to Dr. Kornstein. He helped create and write the book on fat grafting, he combines the most appropriate and the BEST procedures and executes them for maximum benefit and minimum evasiveness. I never could have imagined my body would look so good!! This has been a long and emotional journey for me and I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Kornstein. I had my first breast reduction in 2015 and the doctor I chose (Dr. Jelks) did a terrible job. I was a size G/H in specialty bras (a DD in retail stores) and after my surgery I was left a size D with droopy breasts. I also have always wanted a flat stomach and Dr. Jelks poked my stomach and assured me that liposuction would do the trick. Well, it didn't. I cannot stress enough how important it is to find a surgeon who is qualified and an expert in their field. If you are reading this review, you should feel lucky to have found Dr. Kornstein. He is truly a gifted, innovative and caring doctor. I found Dr. Kornstein through an internet search for a mini-tummy tuck. I am in my mid-forties am a runner and triathlete, yet my body has never reflected all of the exercise and training I do. I was born with an apple shaped body with… a lot of excess skin. Dr. Kornstein performed a reverse abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck) and also corrected my failed breast reduction. He used a special Ulthera treatment and liposuction to shrink the fat and tighten the skin around my stomach area. All of these procedures are very innovative as I had met with two plastic surgeons prior to finding Dr. Kornstein. Both doctors told me something different and neither provided me with these options. I now have a beautiful curvaceous shape and my breasts are perky and a smaller size that fits my body. As other reviews have stated, Dr. Kornstein is an artist and a master of his craft. This could not be truer. Dr. Kornstein asked for a photo of what I wanted my breasts to look like and spent an extended number of hours on my surgery. His staff and nurses are all very caring and answered my many questions and concerns. Having gone through this process twice, I have a point of comparison and I can honestly say that the pre-and-post op instructions Dr. Kornstein's office provided were much more thorough. Although my procedures were more extensive, I have less scarring and have been in less pain overall. Itâ??s not been entirely easy. The swelling takes a while to settle. Results are not immediate and Iâ??ve had to learn patience which has never come easy to me. Itâ??s only been two months and I am in awe of my new body. I highly recommend Dr. Kornstein. He has changed my life and for this I am very thankful.
