Dr. Andrew E Lyons

Dr. Lyons is no longer at this office. Sadly, he was not choosy in his selection of a buyer for his beloved practice and that is a shame. I used to live nearby and continued to be a patient after moving more than an hour away. I believed Dr. Lyons would never allow his patients to receive sub par care. So I went for my annual appointment, Dr.Patel did not wash his hands nor wore gloves touching my face, he pulled a used mask out of his pocket and spoke to my hygienist of several years in a derogatory manner. I am a former health care worker and this unclean behavior is to be reported. The once happy staff is now working like an assembly line( I never waited more than 15 minutes) and I waited close to an hour/ and I know it was he who delayed my hygienist because I heard him say the patient he was with needed a service from her. She did tell him her patient was waiting and she was running late due to the last patient he brought into her chair . When I got brought in my hygienist… apologized and said she had some unexpected delays. Always professional she is and didn’t say a bad word to blame Dr. Patel but I told her I heard him. Then he was insistent on doing an unnecessary procedure which I declined. I will not back. I will miss the front desk, the assistant and my hygienist. I do not want to list their names because they are wonderful and I don’t want any focus of my bad experience with him to be somehow turned into a fault of theirs. I am sure they are upset with Dr.Lyons as well and I hope they all find jobs elsewhere , they are too kind, professional and skillful to put up with a “doctor” who is not worthy of them.

I went there and got my teeth cleaned and then found out my insurance was all used up and they wouldn't cover the cleaning. I had been there a few times and never met lyons, I tried to negotiate it down but he was a jerk about it. They lied and said it was a fancy periodontics exam which it wasn't and tried milking the insurance company. I will never go there again. Rip offs. Unprofessional front desk people as well.
