Dr. Andrew Wesley Nance, MD

Dr. Nance is young and looks like he just got out of med school. Unfortunately, my experiences with him have been unsatisfactory. He clearly has an agenda which he expects you to follow. His favorite phrase is, “What do you want to talk about?” Instead of asking you direct questions about how you feel, what your concerns are, how is your medication working, or how have you been feeling since I saw you last, his canned greeting is “What do you want to talk about?” When you do start to tell him, he will rush you by saying, “Anything else?” Never have I had a doctor who was so incompetent in communicating the English language. He is almost robotic in conversations. Not personal at all. In addition, he lacks the caring and understanding that most doctors exhibit with their patients. Dr. Nance would clearly benefit by mentored by some older, more experienced physicians on his communication skills and how to deal with patients. He just doesn’t have a clue on how to talk to patients.… Also, he needs to stop pushing his views on patients (plant-based eating and no medications) if he wants to keep clientele. Just because he has certain opinions about things doesn’t mean that everyone else agrees with him.
