Dr. Andrew Stuart Olinger, MD

I've been seen by Dr. Olinger twice and both sessions were great. He took his time to understand what my symptoms were and was spot on with the diagnosis. I had vertigo on my first visit and he cured that in about 5 mins. He has a very good bedside manner and is thorough with his examination. He's given me hope that I could possibly get somewhat comparable treatment here in Memphis (native New Yorker). I definitely would recommend giving him a try if you need a doctor who specializes on internal medicine.

I have received excellent care from Dr Olinger and staff. I have found there is a sincere care of my physical well being and taken extra steps to insure that I understand the diagnosis and the process that I am to follow. So appreciative of such good care and treatment .

Excellent bed side manner. Compassionate doctor. Gave me medicine that really helped my fibromyalgia. I couldn't be more pleased. First doctor who I felt actually listened to me.

I waited over 45 minutes from my appointment time in the waiting room and exam room total to be seen by this man for the first time after being switched to his service because my doctor left the office. I was there for blood pressure followup and medication refill. After my vital signs were taken by the nurse, I was placed in an exam room. After 20 minutes in the exam room with no one coming in to say anything, I opened the door and asked the person at the desk where he was and was told he would be called. After another 5 minutes with no word from anyone, I asked to speak with the office manager. As I was speaking with the office manager, he showed up and spent another 5 minutes talking with the office manager while I went back to the exam room. When he entered the room he was noticeably agitated and disturbed and did nothing to explain the delay other than tell me he was working with interns in this “academic clinic.” He was rude and simply uncaring about me as a patient. There… was no smile or attempt to help me feel better or explain the delay. I think 15 minutes is long enough to sit in an exam room with a scheduled appointment. At that point, someone should explain the delay. That’s only common courtesy. I knew I could never trust this man with my healthcare if his main concern was with interns. He actually told me he did not think this would work between us. I asked about my prescription for blood pressure medication and he flatly said No. I advise any person to think twice about trusting this man with their care. He was the most uncaring, prideful man and indifferent to the situation. I was beyond upset with this man. I actually did not even want to give 1 star.
