Dr Andrew Pham

I have been pleased with Dr. Pham and his positive attitude. The reason I only gave a 5 for the practice is it is not conveniently located. The building is dangerous with slippery tile floors in the lobby. I live in Bethesda, MD and would choose a local practice that would be an easier commute.

I love Dr. Pham's enthusiasm for his profession. Despite his busy schedule, he always take the time to explain his findings or walk you through x-ray or MRI results in a way that is easily understood by even those without any medical background. It is actually fascinating to hear him describe what he sees in an MRI picture and even more incredible that it makes sense so easily. He always invites questions and is quick to answer them on the spot or by email if you think of any later on (he will invite you to take his card and email him if you wish). He is super efficient - energetic and quick - but also very thorough. I am always amazed at how much information I get from him in so little time. I also love his straightforwardness and honesty. As someone who is new to back pain, I am prone to want a quick solution, but Dr. Pham is very firm in reminding me that we must try the most conservative solutions first. Dr. Pham always leaves you feeling that you are being well taken care of. To… top it off, Dr. Pham has an arresting personality, managing to be authoritative without being cocky or showing the slightest condescension. I am very impressed with him and very happy with how much he has done to help me in so little time.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Pham. He was very knowledgeable and helped explain my diagnosis to me in simple yet informative details.

Dr. Pham has a gift for not only diagnosing and evaluating but in helping me understand my diverse symptoms with the hand of a teacher who has been well-schooled, well beyond his years. He has a very thorough manner. His examination was different from the painful ones I experienced previously. His recommendations to try other options, including medicine, helped me stand on my feet and has given me some lasting temporary relief so that I don't feel I will be a Tin Man forever. He is able to impart his knowledge. Somewhere down the road, I see him in teaching other doctors and patients as well. I don't want surgery, but if it is necessary, I'm sure Dr. Phan will use his competent, steady hand for superior results.
