Dr. Andrew Alan Sagan, MD

My husband and I love Dr. Sagan for our son. Our son sees several specialists at Lurie Children's hospital for specific issues but we prefer to keep Dr. Sagan as his pediatrician. We love that Dr. Sagan takes the time proactively to call us after our Lurie procedures to see how our son is doing or after he's been sick, even if it's at 8pm at night or on Thanksgiving day, it's apparent he really cares for his patients. Every time we've needed a more urgent appointment with him, we get one, and his staff is great too. I would recommend him to anyone (except maybe parents that need to be coddled, he's not your doctor, he's your child's doctor!).

Condescending and arrogant. Does not act concerned about parents questions or thoughts. Extremely rigid. Rejects children for medical care if the parents desire an alternative vaccine schedule. Staff rarely had answers to simple questions. The nurses had no clue what they were administering to my child when injecting vaccines. I am still livid that we were told to leave his office without even weighing my 9 month old because we did not want them to give her 6 vaccines at once!!!

My son was seen by him repeatedly for months with very clear symptoms of adenoid hypertrophy, which Dr. Sagan failed to diagnose. His huge adenoids blocked his throat when he slept, so throughout his first year of life he never hit deep sleep. Meanwhile, Sagan tested him for allergies. The end. 10 years later, we're struggling to help him cope with the consequences of sleep deprivation on his infant brain -- a learning disorder, vision problems, ... I could go on.

Dr Sagan is the best, we moved with him from NW hospital, he has been care for my 2 kids since birth and he always has been extremely care and makes them feel comfortable. My two kids love him and always want to see Dr. Sagan

Dr. Sagan has been my daughter's doctor since birth. We moved with him from NWMemorial out to Swedish, and have found this actually improves the experience. We are always able to get appointments when needed, and he saves his first morning visits for those quick check ins if you need to find out if your child is too sick for school or not. He is exceptional with his bedside manner, and actually talks to my daughter, not to me. His staff are also very caring, taking the time to make sure fears are waylayed before every shot.

Dr. Sagan is the best. He has been my sons pediatrician since he worked at NMPG. I followed him to Swedish. He genuinely cares about my kids health. I would recommend him to anyone.
