Forget how talented this man is, how professional and the greatest surgeon. This Man Dr Sama is warm and caring. He cares and takes the time. The honesty and thoughtfulness was breathtaking. I have been to doctors for 20 years for my back. This man is one of the most wounderfull humans you will ever meet. As soon as you hear and feel the warmth and intellectual mind. You want to hand him the scalpel and roll over and say cut me now Doc, and he would say no no, no cuts. But let’s be honest. Never make the mistake of not using Dr Sama. I’m thank you Doc for all you have done. .

Called Dr Sama's office for information and the person who answered the phone was abrupt and rude …. I hesitate to call back for an appointment

Great doctor. I was using a walker with tremendous lower back pain, numbness in both feet, drop foot in left foot, no strength in either foot. Dr. Sama performed my surgery and cured my condition.

I liked Dr. Sama from the start because he spoke to be as an equal and explained everything I needed to know about having surgery on my spine. He took all the time I needed. He has a wonderful and most efficient staff who take care of all the arrangements, soup to nuts. If you call the office, you get someone on the phone quickly and your issue is dealt with as soon as possible. I am feeling very well and I owe that to Dr. Sama.

Dr. Sama and his Staff were wonderful. I had spinal fusion surgery back in Feb. 2012. I would highly reccomend Dr. Sama to anyone. I am back to working and biking which is what I love to do. My surgery was a sucess. I am very grateful.

My life had come to a halt, pain ruled every day, I couldn't sleep, work, or do the things a 33 year old should. On nov 22, doctor Sama and his team gave me my life back. I'm three months Post-op, debilitating pain is fast becoming a distant memory. I have and will continue to reccomend him to anyone in need of spinal care.

Dr. Sama is truly a gifted surgeon. I had seen a few other surgeons for my neck, and he was the only one who gave me a thorough exam and diagnosis of my problem. When I had my surgery, he was genuinely caring and he really did a fantastic job. I am 8 weeks post op and I am not in pain anymore. My scar is minimal on my neck and on my hip. I would recommend him for anyone who needs spinal surgery. HSS is a fabulous hospital and if you are having spinal surgery, look no where else than Sama and HSS.
