Dr. Daniel Stuart Markowicz, MD

I met with Dr. Markowicz for a pre-op conversation about a knee replacement. My physical condition is rather complicated because I had an allergic reaction while on a trip in China. The reaction could have possibly been cause by the combination of medications I was taking for blood clots. Dr. Markowicz was very information, patient, and fully-expressed. He spent a lot of time with me talking about my situation. He was very clear and spoke in complete details about the use of different kinds of apparatuses, how long the operation would take, and what would be required pre- and post-. Although I have not had my surgery with Dr Markowicz as of yet, I thought it would be important to provide this comment, as many doctors that I have seen do not provide patients with a full out explanation of what the procedure is, how long it takes, the variety of apparatuses that could be used, and what to expect after the operation.

Very knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic, able to explain in the simplest terms and give excellent/useful advice. I was referred to the doctor by a close friend with a complicated case and I too unfortunate have a complicated case, but I feel I am in the most capable hands!

After meeting Dr. Markowicz for the first time, I knew that he was the surgeon I wanted to do my knee replacement surgery. He's young, compassionate and easy to talk to. I expect to feel very at ease on Monday morning in the OR... Good work, Dr. Markowicz

I can't say enough about Dr. Markowicz. His professionalism and patient care goes above and beyond. My recovery went smoothly and he was there every step of the way. No one should hesitate, for any reason, in choosing him to do your surgery.
