Dr. Andrew Howard Scheinfeld, MD

Dr. Scheinfeld delivered both of my children naturally. He is all about seeking the most natural way for delivery possible with very few and minimal interventions, unless they are absolutely necessary. Another reviewer mentioned that he pushes for C sections. I can not believe this is true unless it was a medical necessity, as it was the complete opposite experience that I had with him. I went one week past my due date with my second child and the word c section or induction didn't come up. When I asked, he said I would need to be 10 days past due date until we would need to have such a conversation. My doula said that he is the best doctor she has worked with after delivering 100 babies herself. He always explained processes to her and even would ask if it was OK before he proceeded with certain recommendations so, that she could properly advocate for me and follow our birth plan. Other highlights, include allowing my 3 year old daughter to come to my sonogram and heartbeat… appointments, gave us a list of his favorite children's books and special hand knitted doll made by his wife. I could go on and on about how truly one of a kind Andrew is. I would consider having another child so that he could be my doctor again as he is no longer taking GYN appointments.

Dr Scheinfeld is quick to give a C-section. He is nice at appointments but in the birthing room he will find any excuse to give you a csection. I don't recommend him if you want a natural delivery.

I cant start to say how much I appreciate this medical office. Not only was the staff kind and knowledgeable, Dr Scheinfeld even after a night of delivering babies he gave me the attention I needed. He is busy doctor and I have been cancelled and rescheduled a couple of times but he was completely there for at my delivery. Now I have a beautiful baby girl. THANKS TO THEM!

Dr Scheinfeld was truly a blessing. Very calming and accommodating to all my birthing wishes. He was nothing but reassuring and keep his cool even when I didn't. I was in labor for over 8 hours and it wasn't very pleasant but he stood by our side (my husband and I) and I appreciate all his hard work. GREAT DOCTOR!!

Dr Scheinfeld is excellent. However, you need to be flexible as he is a one-person practice, so when he is out delivering you will have to reschedule appointments. They can get over booked and wait times are often pretty long. While little frustrating at times, this was worth it to us to have such a great doctor. Front desk is pretty brusk and not too helpful at times.

doctor Scheinfeld was very calm and caring all throughout however I find that he does not work well under pressure and panics when anything unexpected happens. I would not recommend him since during delivery I want my doctor to be able to assist with anything that might come up

I delivered 4 of my babies with Dr. Sheinfeld, and he is amazing!

Excellent Dr very compassionate , easy to speak to. His bedside manners are great and decision making in delivery room were quick and decisive . I am very happy w/him and recomend without . If you need great doc call him.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr Scheinfeld. He delivered my princess almost 16 years ago and I couldn't be happier with his service. I was a first time mom. I was very anxious and scared to give birth. But Dr. Scheinfeld made pregnancy and labor the most wonderful experience I've ever had. His expertise and personality are just some of the his best qualities. I would recommend Dr. Scheinfeld a million times.

I was so pleased with my care from dr. Scheinfeld. He was so well spoken and he treated me like I was his only patient. That man is God sent! He walked me through everything and even apologized for having "cold hands". It was very refreshing to have a doctor treat you as a person.
