Dr. Andrew Evan Segraves, DO

I had my initial consult today with Dr Andrew Seagraves and I thought he was great. I came in to discuss my medication for anxiety and depression and he listened and answered all of my questions. I found him very professional and easy to talk too. I also felt like he took his time and I never felt rushed. Thank you Dr Seagraves.

Dr. Segraves discharged my significant other, who suffers from bipolar depression and PTSD, because she missed an appointment. Apparently he expects his mentally ill patients never to forget anything, despite the fact that he has forgotten to send her prescriptions to the pharmacy on a couple of occasions. I expect much better from a psychiatrist. Stay away from Dr. Segraves for the sake of your own mental health.

I think Dr Segraves is far from terrible. However, I have found him to make one or two contradictory statements and there’s been an important question I have asked numerous times that refuses to be answered. There was a situation where he and his assistant (Rebecca) didn’t know where to send my Rx refill that my husband called in and nobody bothered to contact me and ask. I’m not sure he has enough experience for why I see him. He also used unacceptable method to try switching me from one medication to the other that several other doctors I’ve spoken to cannot believe he did. I have found a new doctor and will not be returning to see Dr Andrew Segraves.
