Dr. Andrew Lewis Simon, MD

I can't get over the fact that he recommended circumcision for balanitis. His position was fairly adamant yet casual, claiming that foreskin is practically worthless. Unsatisified with his answer, I went to a dermatologist, got a cream, saved a body part, and thousands of dollars. Be prepared to wait.

I originally called Dr Simons office for an appointment for a check up regarding my prostate. I did not have my secondary insurance yet but gave all information that I would pay my portion. It turns out that the office said they would have to let me know the next day because the doctor decides if he wants to see me as a patient. I never heard of this from any other office and was alarmed by this. Well the next day they did agree to see me and they made sure they got every cent at the end of my visit. The doctor does not answer my wife when she asks questions and continues to ignore her, also the girls answering the phone are rude and obnoxious. The office does not return calls. Even when calling in a prescription they never let us know and we failed to pick it up. Doctor is cold and rude at times. We plan to see another doctor.

I had two insurances and told them on phone the secondary picks up the primary, they were ok with it...went to apt with ID, ins cards and paperwork but said they wanted copay, i explained that secondary with pick up the 15.00 copay again but they did not care and I had no money so they said they cannot see me and sent me on my way with a kidney stone lodged in my ureter for almost a week now..I could not believe it...I am so sad and shocked that this happened. 15.00 that they would have gotten from Medicare. so disappointing that dr's are that desperate for 15.00 that they would rather see you leave than have dr see you :(

Doctor & staff very knowledgeable...straight forward...here is diagnosis & this is the treatment Have reviewed with medical professional in my family....they agree with treatment prescribed by doctor

Had a biopsy done on a Wed., morning. That after noon, Dr Simon, called to see how I was doing. Thursday am, his office called to see if everything was ok. Monday morning Dr Simon called with my results. You can't ask for better communication. The staff in the office went the extra mile for me. My new health care plan was very confusing as to whether or not I needed a referral ( I did). They spent over an hour on the phone until they got it straightened out. On my follow up visit, the Dr. was held up in surgery, they called b/4 I left and offered to change my appointment or call me when the Dr. arrived so I could come in. And he is so calm and explains everything in detail that you just feel like you are in good hands.

Lacks beside manner; Staff is anything but courteous.

Dr. Simon takes his calling seriously. He is a dedicated, caring doctor who makes the welfare of his patients a priority. His office is well run by staff members who are efficient and personable. It is a rarity to find an excellent doctor and a staff that reflects his values. May God continue to bless this practice. Good job!!
