Dr. Simpson is young and confident, and did an outstanding job at identifying and properly treating my back problem. I could barely walk before the surgery, and now, two weeks later am doing near 5,000 steps a day, mostly without any cane. His office has been wonderfully prompt with their appointments, and very friendly and helpful. Most importantly was that Dr. Simpson didn’t hesitate to correct a previous opinion of treatment for my back that was way more than needed. Upon more research, he was shown to be correct. For that I am forever great full.

He is simply the best!

Dr. Simpson performed surgury on my back in the fall of 2015. For the first time in over 15 years I have no back pain. Dr. Simpson is amazing. He is educated, informative, empathetic and highly skilled. If you need a back Doctor you need Dr. Simpson. In my opinion, if you look close enough, you can see Dr Simpson walking on water.

There is nothing I dislike about this doctor. He is so careful in his decision about his patients diagnosis and treatment. More physicians should be as decisive as Dr. Simpson. Not only have I seen and been treated by him. I have sent family members to him. He and his staff are incredible. They work together as a team to care for their patients. I am so thankful for the life I have been given back because of caring people like the Dr. Simpson and his staff at The Back Institute. Thank you for caring so much about your line of work you all chose to go into.

Dr. Simpson was not only thorough, understanding and easy to talk with, he performed a complex surgery precisely and perfectly. His meticulous attention to details meant faster healing, a more successful outcome, and less time in recovery. I can recommend him to anyone who needs a back/spine specialist.

Dr. Simpson was very professional and excellent at diagnosing my pain problem. He decided the best plan to resolve my back and leg issues. He made me feel comfortable. I never questioned his plan to help me. And when I woke up after surgery it was exactly as he told me. He said my leg and back pain would be relieved. And it was. ZERO symptoms as I had in pre-op. Post-op ZERO pain, ZERO numbness ZERO tingling. His plan of action was SPOT ON. I never met this man before my first office visit with him. He made me feel totally confident in his ability to help and heal me from my year and a half battle with low back and left leg pain. Dr. Simpson is a true surgeon working to help heal people with back and spine issues. Thank you so much for helping me live pain free. And pain free without harmful medications. You are truly AWESOME.

My decision to have back surgery was complicated by my being on a blood thinner as a result of A-fib. Dr. Simpson suggested trying injections but since they did not work, surgery was the only choice remaining. When my pain got bad enough I agreed to surgery and it was the best decision I've made in a long time. I am so pleased that I was referred to Dr. Simpson. I feel 10 years younger due to his excellent surgery. No more pain!!

Dr. Simpson takes as much time as you need to fully understand your medical issues, and the surgical steps needed to correct them. I had many references on his surgical skills prior to my first visit, I left impressed with his quiet confident manner and genuine interest in my well being. He also has a great sense of humor! Dr. Simpson's staff reflects his manner in that they are friendly, helpful and care about returning you to good health. My surgical results exceeded my expectations and I can finally return to the quality of life I was hoping for. Thank you Dr. Simpson!
