Dr. Andrew Michael Weber, MD

Dr. Weber has been my Hematologist for about 4-5 years. I became his patient because of Anemia problems which couldn't be explained. Hi is extremely kind, caring, and compassionate. When I met him, first thing that came to mind was “Doogie Howser, MD.” Dr. Weber truly passionate about his patients and it shows very much. He clearly explains all his findings, is willing to answer your questions without hesitation and makes you feel very at ease. I am extremely happy with Dr. Weber, his staff and associates. The staff I’ve met have been extremely helpful! Thank you Dr. Weber for everything!!

Dr. Andrew Weber;  There's no way I would give him a good rating.  In the 1 1/2 years dealing with him I felt like a piece of recycled scrap iron on an automotive assembly line.  He'd install  the the part, not caring if it fit or not, just to get to the next recycled piece of scrap iron.  Absolutely no communication what so ever, no explanation of a diagnosis or treatment.  Have to admit I have a rare cancer, but had the Mayo Clinic as a guiding light.  He basically thought he know more the them and really did not want to work with them.  He thinks he's intelligent, but never proved it to me.  Don't know how well he deals with the more common cancers, but if you have anything unusual I would not recommend  him.  Rate as a very bad experience.

Dr. Weber has no bedside manner at all. In fact, he doesn't give eye contact and fidgets on computer the entire time you're trying to talk. He asks you a question and while your answering, he goes into next question. I was not heard at all. After treatment I asked for pet scan an he would not give me one. Everyone has clarification if they are cancer free. He refused to give me that. No MRI or scans to date a year after all treatments. When I asked if he could recommend a female oncologist going forward, he verbatim said, no, you can do that on your own. During my treatment with him that year, I also had 2 seperate back surgeries. 1 from front, the other from the back. I have a dropped foot. Bed ridden most of year, extreme pain etc. He scolded/berated me about missing a few appointment. He made me feel stupid when my chemo brain couldn't answer his questions fast enough. My memory shot, After "all" of what my body and mind has been through. For him to make me feel worse was truly… sad and infuriating. I dont think the realizes what happens behind the scenes. The extreme mental game, trying to stay above water when all you want to do is drown. Keeping that smile, when really you want to scream an shout! As for his staff, "I" had to butter them up extra so they wouldn't be more rude then they were. I'm proud to stay it worked. By the end I had a good repor with all the staff there. How ever that should not have been my job. I believe "you" could find better. A dr who can take the time to listen, address your concern/fear and make you comfortable. I assure you, you will not find that here. God bless you and your journey.

Dr Weber is a very knowledgeable and caring oncologist. I have been happy with my treatment plan. Everything is going wonderfully and he always takes the time to explain things and answer questions. He also has a wonderful staff. I am very thankful I was referred to him for my breast cancer.

I would give him a zero if I could. My oncologist moved out of town and referred me to Dr Weber. I had an appointment at 7 this morning, which was confirmed by a call from his office on Friday. I left my house in plenty of time, but traffic this morning was awful. At 7:10, Dr Weber himself called me, and I apologized and said I was 5 minutes away. His words were “don’t bother I have other patients to see”. When he tried to reschedule me, I said “you’ve got to be kidding me you can’t give me 15 minutes?” He wouldn’t budge so I told him to forget it an hung up. He then left me a voicemail saying that I have no one else to blame for being late but myself. When my wife went to his office around 8 am to complain THERE WERE NO (ZERO) PATIENTS IN HIS WAITING ROOM. And yet he’s so busy. THANK YOU DR WEBER FOR BEING SO UNDERSTANDING. I JUST HOPE ONE DAY THAT I WILL BECOME AS PERFECT AS YOU ARE.

Dr Weber is the most caring and knowledgeable oncologist I have had in 20 years after Hurricane Michael he was the only Doctor that not only answered his phone but out of 5 doctors he was the only one who cared about my health and the long term medicine I'm on to keep me mobile and with a minimal amount of chronic pain . I am so very lucky to have found him and his wonderful staff. Thank you Dr. Webber the world and especially this area needs more of you.

I first came to FCA in 2015, new to the area, seven months pregnant, and newly diagnosed with cancer. To say I was a mess would be a vast understatement, but Dr. Weber, Dr. Chino, and every other staff member at FCA made a horrible situation so much easier to manage. They worked closely with me to find the best specialists and surgeons in the area for my care and always addressed any concerns or fears I had right away, no matter the day or time. There have been times I called at night or on the weekend and Dr. Weber would answer right away or call me back within minutes. Over the years, they have established a solid relationship with not only me, but my entire family. Cancer is something you hope to never have to deal with, but I always feel 100% confident in the care I receive and consider myself extremely lucky to have access to such an amazing team. I am now a cancer survivor and will always be grateful for these amazing people who essentially saved my life. I not only think of them… as my caregivers, but also my friends. We love you all!

I had an appointment with Doctor Weber today on a follow up for a chronic set of conditions. He has treated me for two to three years and has been very good; however, today he was not on his game. He did not remember several important facts concerning my case. His discussion with me seemed as though we had no previous encounter. Maybe he was having a bad day, too busy, maybe a little hubris, I don't know. One thing a good clinician should always focus on, no matter how many high tech tests and devices he may have is to listen to the patient history. He seemed to glance over things and made some remarks that indicated he really hasn't listened to what I had to say. Would I recommend him, certainly. I just hope he hasn't lost what I thought he had. I have been involved in para medical services for about fifty years practicing and on the policy and enforcement side. This is not my first rodeo. If Doctor Weber reads this I hope he will take notice.

So I check this site now and then because I truly care if I'm doing things on which I can improve for my patients. While bad reviews are an anomaly, I take them seriously, unless they're blatantly not written by an actual patient of mine. I beseech you to ask around, find someone who knows docs in town, and largely ignore these websites before making such an important decision--it was far too easy to post about myself and I gave me an excellent rating!

Caring, compassionate and attentive. Explained everything thoroughly and spent as much time as needed with me and my family.
