Office overall seems more interested in money than medicine and helping people. I don't fell that Dr. Werchniak did a thorough skin cancer screening. It was very quick and nowhere near as comprehensive as I have experienced with other dermatologists.

This office demands your credit card upfront and we should have recognized that red flag. Dr. Werchniak submitted over $560 charge for a 10 minute appointment to check a mole. When he supposedly discovered a tick during the visit he removed it with tweezers and proceeded to submit $375 for that removal. Carole the office manager rationalizes using a code that involves an incision for this because "we couldn't find a code" and hey it goes to deductible anyway so who cares what we charge. We do....we pay for it. Will never go here again.

My husband went for a mole check(which they pre-charged his credit card for $150) and during the exam the doctor claimed to have found a tick on his back. He removed it with a pair of tweezers and then then charged our credit card another $375 for that(while coding it like a surgical incision). No mention was ever made that they would charge for that...silly us we thought they would just take that insect off as a courtesy or at least a reasonable charge. Carole the office manager said it just goes to the deductible so what's the problem....guess she thought if insurance would pick it up who cares what they charge....well we do and we will never go back which is a shame because we liked Dr. Dinulos who was too busy to get an appointment with.

This is a very good, thorough doctor. I highly recommend him! He spends a lot of time with you and explains everything in detail. He makes sure you don't leave your appointment with any unanswered questions. Very knowledgable, top notch.

I was recommended to see dermatoglist through a co-worker . Previous condition was burn scalp by local hair dresser . Second degree burns . I wanted to know why my scalp was still burning . I told him exactly what happen and showed him photos of my condition., he didn't really seem to concertrate anything I was telling him . With all this stated he check my head said not sure it's hair dye reaction or ceriases . Again told him was not allergic reaction to hair dye . This sallon left my head to fry & forgot me there. If Dr Andrew Werchniak is dermatoglist with many experience , wouldn't he know exactly my codition .

He is an excellent doctor and a person. I'm so lucky to have him as my doctor

Dr. Werchniak is a superb physician: knowledgeable, technically skilled, and willing to take time to understand his patients' concerns and priorities and to discuss treatment alternatives and explain in detail the reasons for his recommendations. On one occasion when he asked whether another physician had answered my questions and I replied in the negative, his instant response was "Let's make sure you get the answers you need, right now." And he did. Competence is one thing, and expected. Compassion and genuinely patient-centered care go well beyond competence, and they set Dr. Werchniak well above many of his colleagues.

He was a extremely knowledgeable, thorough, kind, empathetic,patient physician.
