Dr. Andrew Palmer Wilson, MD

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR I had an appointment to see this doctor. The first time we met, he was awesome and very caring. This time he was very, very, uncaring. I don't know if he was having a bad day, but he was unfriendly, gave very negative feedback, said I wasn't being truthful about follow-up visits (Why would I lie??) . He had me in tears by the time I left. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anybody.

Dr. Wilson is great with communicating important information to his patients as well as their family members. He is professional, thorough, but also very caring.

Dr. Wilson was the Pulmonologist assigned to see my Mother. He told her she has " if lucky another year left to live" and walked out of her room. I wouldnt want anyone to have to deal with a Doctor or honestly anyone telling them this and walking away !!

Those who leave low ratings without a review shouldn't count. I LOVE to complain and I'm really good at it. However, nothing to complain about here with Dr. Andrew Wilson. I was a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital. Dr. Wilson was the Lung Specialist who was assigned to my case. I had a follow up lung test at the Minnesota Lung Center in Maplewood. Yes, Dr. Wilson looks very young but he has a great education and is knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He took the time to listen to me in the hospital and he did so when he called me at home. I'm a 60 year old female patient that probably won't need his services in the future but if I do.....Saw him through HealthEast Services just after their acquisition by Allina. It is very difficult to find a doctor outside of your own personal care physician. During my 8 day hospital stay, I had 6 different hospitalists and not all of them were great. If you need a lung specialist, count your blessings if you get Dr. Wilson. I am and… I highly recommend him.
