Dr. Andrew Ginn Bong Young, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Young for about eight years in Ventura. He is courteous, thoughtful, and very professional. While visiting him, he puts me at ease when checking and recording everything possible about my eyes. His nature is SWEET and kind. He always ends with a smile and reassurances. When not at the Ventura Office, he gives visual checks-ups to children at LA public schools through a UCLA program for at risk kids. When I leave, I feel secure and know I am getting the best possible care. At times, he requires that I update my file through visual field tests and optic nerve images. Afterwards, he always goes over the results. Sometimes, I require a procedure to maintain a lower pressure when glaucoma drops are not effective . Then he explains the risks and benefits and either does the required procedure or sends me to Dr. Mangers, another AMAZING Miramar physician for surgery or a second opinion. My eyes are routinely getting the BEST possible care with Dr.… Andrew Young.
