Not only a great urologist, but my husband and I consider him one of the best doctors that we've ever worked with!

Dr. G was very knowledgeable and personable to my condition. He spent time questioning the history of my childhood (Stage 1) repair and any follow-ups from this initial surgery at age 18 months (of which there was none ?!). He was quite surprised that no urethral exams had been conducted over the past 50 years !? Dr. G's exam and plan for Hypospadias repair with Urethroplasty was thorough and explained to me in terms I could easily understand. The entire staff of nurses, PAs and clerks that work with Dr. G are very kind and considerate to your comfort and needs ! I am very pleased with my results and thankful to all for their care.

I was having issues with impotency. I was in my late 40's and was very nervous about discussing the issue with anyone but I found him to be easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Nick spent as much time with me as necessary to answer all my questions and gave a full explanation of all indicaters of BPH and treatments available. As far as actual treatments required, he never once pushed me into any unnecessary test's but instead approached my BPH as conservatively as possible only requiring PSA to establish whether I actually needed any biopsies or invasive medical treatments. I have had other doctors that want to require 6-12 month tests every year. I have great respect for Dr. Nick as he is not in it just for the money. I would recommend him.

My husband recently was found to have a growth in his kidney. His family doctor sent him to a urologist who informed us that it was a cancer and required surgery. He was kind enough to tell us that though he, himself, could remove the mass with traditional surgery, there was one urologist in our area that has been removing them robotically. We were referred to "Dr. Nick". From our first meeting, my husband and i knew that found the best surgeon for this condition. My husband underwent 3 hours robotic surgery. stayed just 2 nights at Mercy Hospital, was back to work after 2 weeks, and is cancer free! We can't thank Dr. Nick enough!

after 6 weeks of telling this doctor something was wrong and him STILL refusing to make a follow up. Someone almost died! He could have prevented it all but chose not to listen to the patient!

I forced my husband to finally see a urologist for his prostate concerns and chose Dr. Gianitsos. I had heard nothing but the best about him from my friends. I accompanied my husband to the visit and couldn't believe how the doctor got him to actually talk about his concerns. They chatted as though they were 2 old friends meeting over a beer at the local pub! Later my husband told me that the urologist made him feel comfortable and that he'll not need me at any of the follow-up visits.
