He was the only male doctor during my monthly visits and I felt he is the one who will be my doctor on my day of delivery. I don't know if I wanted that to happen or not happen but eventually he was there on my delivery day. No big surprise as I already expected him and he was excellent. Very caring and gentle, lucky if he is your doctor too.

Dr. Nieves delivered my 2nd child by c-section. He is the best OBGYN I have ever seen ! Truly cares about the patients and loves his job !!!

Dr. Nieves is absolutely the best OBGYN that i've encountered. He is very bright, personable and skilled. He did my C-section operation this year and did a beautiful job. I recommend Dr. Nieves to anyone who will listen.

Dr. Nieves should be the benchmark on how physicians treat their patients. He is extremely knowledgeable, technically astute, yet has a wonderful bedside manner in caring for his patients. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Nieves is incredible! His bedside manner is phenomenal! He took all the time in the world with me and made me feel like I was the only patient he had. Even when I didn't "get" something he didn't show even a slight bit of impatience while he reexplained. I never got rescheduled or bumped or had to wait. I drove 6 hours one way for each visit and he was well worth it!

We delivered our baby with Dr. Nieves at Duke Birthing Center. Not only was he very professional, we also felt like he truly cared about us. We can not be thankful enough. We highly recommend him to everyone.
